Kaitlyn Pickett—known to a lot of people as Kaitlyn Alyss or “Bama”—is a mom of three and the founder of Sun Ink’d Tanning, a South Carolina spray-tan business built for people who never quite fit the cookie-cutter version of beauty. In this episode of Lowcountry Revolutionaries, she shares how she turned a wild, nonlinear path into a brand that is edgier, more inclusive, and a lot more real—then expanded into Disorder, her product line that pairs beauty with mental health advocacy. Now she’s part of the Roma Therapy cast with Roma Wanted, a darkly feminine scent of pomegranate, black orchid, amber, and mahogany made for the woman who never has to ask for attention. A raw conversation on confidence, chaos, and feeling damn good in your own skin.
