Build A Book Powered AI Consultant
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Your next business consultant might already be sitting on your laptop, and it might be trained on the exact books you trust most. We talk through a simple but surprisingly powerful workflow: upload PDFs of your favorite business and productivity books into a custom GPT, then use tight, detailed prompts to get advice that feels grounded instead of generic. If you’ve been frustrated by vague AI output, this is the “make it practical” approach that actually helps you decide what to build next.
From there, we dig into what happens when a community starts shipping real tools. We share a sneak peek of an AI sales training app concept built for healthcare sales, where reps can learn their own tendencies, understand a physician’s style, and prepare smarter conversations. The big idea is combining AI coaching with public surgical data to support better account planning and more relevant value stories, while staying mindful of professionalism and compliance.
We also get honest about the tooling shift happening right now. With Claude and platforms like Base44, you can describe what you want in plain English and get working code, a functional website, and even automated email sequences without the old time and cost burden. Finally, we connect it to the bigger healthcare trend we’re seeing: the rise of independent medicine, longevity medicine, and patient demand for services like peptides, weight loss support, and hormone optimization as the insurance model keeps tightening.
If you found this useful, subscribe, share it with a friend building in AI or healthcare, and leave a review. What would you build if you could skip the “learn to code” step?
A Book Powered GPT Consultant
SPEAKER_00I still use the one every day that I I I create a GPT. I don't know if they'll give some people a hack. I went out to scribed w S C R I B D, took all the PDFs of my favorite books, hundred million dollar offers, atomic habits, all of them, and I fed it in the GPT and that's my business consultant. And I just, you know, I ask prompt, very detailed prompts of what I want to create and what I want to do and how I want to do it. And it gives me feedback right directly from the books. So it's kind of cool. It's like it's having your own business consultant. We're back.
SPEAKER_01Hey, you got a big trip coming up?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm heading to uh well, not too bad. A couple hours up the road, two and a half hours up the road. Going up to Savannah for a meeting, so that'll be nice. Perfect time of year, perfect weather. We still oh here we go talking about the weather again. Anyway, um it'll be nice with low humidity, but it will be warm. So there you go.
SPEAKER_01Uh I was in Florida last last week for a couple days. It was uh nice to be in your country. Yeah. Good living. And I Florida's a nice place, you know. I I wish I I wish my wife wasn't so liberal. I we would move there of Texas or something.
SPEAKER_00Give her time. She's as she matures, she'll she'll change.
SPEAKER_01Uh thank God she doesn't listen to this podcast.
SPEAKER_00There you go. Um, yeah, you were down in West Palm. How was it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was good. It's um it was like bingo night at every restaurant we ate dinner at, but it's uh, you know, it was it's a good time, you know. Definitely like retiree capital of uh Florida. It must be anyway. Or what the wealthy retiree capital.
SPEAKER_00That it is, yeah. Palm Beach County, that's exactly what it is for sure.
SPEAKER_01Um you must sell a lot of knee replacement parts in that that neck of the woods.
An AI Sales Training App Idea
SPEAKER_00It's a uh that's why lots of healthcare companies want to be in Florida and have a uh a great market share. So yeah, that's for sure. Well, and it's also like right after Easter, lots of people leave to go back up north. So you kind of it's kind of how it always works. So our population dramatically changes. But um, which is all good. I'll tell you what, I um I've been on the phone with Jerry Savage here the last two or three days. Those guys are creating oh my gosh, wait until you see what this looks like, what they're creating. He and Mike Nelligan are gonna have a um I'll just give a little sneak peeky sales training app. Think of a sales training app uh specifically for healthcare, and they're gonna move into other sectors as well, but specifically in healthcare, that will allow you to learn traits about yourself. One, two, plug in different uh your doctor and learn about their traits all through AI. And thirdly, it's gonna connect to important data, surgical data that's public knowledge, it's gonna roll all those in together to help you in profiling and uh talking or presenting to surgeons. So it's that's amazing. It's incredible. I mean, they they those two are they're gonna they've got something really cool that's gonna happen. It's all because of Content Crib 6.0. I mean, it's it's pretty remarkable. This this app is gonna be game changer. I know I say it a lot, but it I think this one really will be.
SPEAKER_01Hey, you know, they're as thick as thieves, and they both are you know very uniquely talented in the space and uh you know and obviously friends and identifying both both of their strengths to then put this together. You know, I didn't think they were gonna take it this far, but I'm happy to hear it because when we first started talking about this at Content Crib in our little um uh breakout group, you know, I I didn't it wasn't envisioned to be this intense, and that's amazing. That is that is really incredible. Um, because you know they both are uniquely equipped to solve the problem of um healthcare sales training or the lack of healthcare sales training in terms of on the rep level, um you know, it's all product training, right? So to be able to have interactive and then AI built in and then personality, that's that's really cool.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I I told Jerry, I said, be ready for people to come calling trying to buy your technology because he uh he spent a long time trying to develop this and he's done a wonderful job. And Mike, who's the chief energy officer at Marathon Medical, he's got the energy and actually I won't say what about I was gonna say something about looks and brains and all that, but I don't know if that applies to any of those guys. So if you're listening, guys, I'm just kidding. But yeah, those guys are really uh they've they've got some new projects. The this new project is fantastic. And others, I mean, um, I don't know if you've seen Amanda's videos that she's got going on and on LinkedIn, and it's just um content crib 6.0 was a huge success, man. I mean, it was it was uh people came up with some great ideas.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean it's it's really like catching some serious steam. I mean people are just they're understanding that they're all they're uniquely uh they're they they have these skills that are just so unique in that they can share it with the world and monetize it. And now we you know we're showing how that you guys people should team up and spread this wealth and using the think tank of content crib um as you know the the proving grounds to you know to do that. It's and now they're all off and running. I mean I I'm uh so thrilled on how six point I completely agree with you how six point oh went and um looking at the future of 7.0 and and taking it to the next level. And you know, I don't think that you know when I first started attending these content cribs with you guys and now um fortunate to be a part of helping mold them. Um I never saw the a progression like this, right? I never I don't think I don't know if anybody did.
Building Tools Fast With Claude
SPEAKER_00I no, I don't I don't think that I I I know I didn't. I kind of thought it was we were gonna teach some tricks about how to do a personalized video, you know. You know, that's really what it started out with at first, and how you know, content and posting, and it's just it's changed into a uh full-blown uh supportive community of people who are I mean, I I learned when Jerry called me today, he's like, I'm doing this and I'm doing this, and I'm using this this uh platform in order to create code, and I'm going, What? Like, what are you doing? And he's Claude is helping create code for different apps that he's you know, the the app they're doing as well as other apps that they're gonna be doing. And I mean, I'm uh if you're listening right now to this podcast, one of the millions of billions that are, you I I I implore you to go out and look at different just platforms that are out there. I mean, you right now can go, there's base 44, there's claude, there's all kinds of different things that you can go out and speak to a platform that this is what you want to accomplish, this is what you want to do, and it will happen. It'll make it lovable's great. Yeah, it it it's just um it's it's amazing. And you know, it's no longer do you need somebody to spend you know a thousand hours programming something or creating something or writing code for you, and it's gonna cost you forty-two thousand dollars. Um, I'm right now, I my website is done for a project that I'm working on. Um, it legitimately was six or seven hours, and it cost me about six or seven hundred bucks. That was it. And I'd put it up against any website that I've ever built that's cost a whole lot more than that for sure. Thousands. Thousands. Yeah. I mean, I saw it, it looks great. Yeah, it's thank you, thank you. I mean, I it was base 44, um, that the platform that that that created it. And I mean, it's just I mean, back in the day, like so you had to use MailChimp. I'm gonna go down a technology rabbit hole here. But back in the day, you'd have to connect constant contact or mail chimp or mailer light or one of these to to have drip emails go out to people. Not anymore. You can create your own code to create that yourself, and that's what I've done on my website. And you you know, it's a it's a seven email sequence, and we did it all by talking and just typing and what we wanted and what it we needed to look like, and it did it. And don't have to spend you know 40 bucks a month or a hundred bucks a month on a subscription to those those different platforms. And I was reading today, which was just wild, that um I don't know if you guys if do you get Ruben's uh um newsletter, the uh AI guy, I think his name is Ruben Hasid, I think his name is. He sends one out every oh yeah, yeah. The one yeah, yeah. I showed the on LinkedIn he does a lot of the Claude stuff now. Yeah, that's it, yeah. Yeah, he just wrote a post last week, or I'm sorry, no, no, no, it was today. It was I I read the one from this morning that software companies lost two and a half trillion dollars in value last week because of Claude. Because of the ability of Claude to write software, what you wanted to do for the build the you know, the the the anything that you wanted to do as far as create a platform, Claude can now do it with Claude, whatever you know, co-work, whatever you want to call it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm just mad all you guys figured it out because I I'm getting throttled down on my Claude usage. Like now I'm being like forced to pay for the$200 a month.
SPEAKER_00I did I do notice that Claude does throttle you down pretty darn quick.
SPEAKER_01I didn't used to. I used to use that all day.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, you were yeah, you were the original adopter because man, I'm on it. The the only thing I use chat GPT for now is to read a contract and you know just look at something or create an image. And I I don't use it for anything else. I'm sincerely thinking about just getting down to the free version because I don't I don't really use it anymore.
SPEAKER_01Um yeah, I still like the custom GP GPTs. I have pricing model GPTs, I have um compliance GPTs, I have yeah, obviously the content crib GPT that people still use all the time, you know. So I do like that. And and you know, I imagine Claude will utilize uh create something like that at some point. And I do have it's still a lot of projects in GP chat that I I definitely could migrate over to the projects on Claude for sure. But um, yeah, no, I agree with you. I mean it's I think it's just kind of one of those things where you know you and I are so embedded in this stuff that we're probably stuck with the$20 plan forever. Probably unless we could really pull the bandit. But you know, which is I agree. I could definitely do if it gone to my head, I could definitely, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you're right. The GPTs are fantastic, and and we have those. And yeah, I I I still use the one every day that I I I created GPT. I don't know, I'll give some people a hack. I went out to scribed with S-C-R-I-B-D, took all the PDFs of my favorite books,$100 million offers, Atomic Habits, all of them, and I fed it in the GPT, and that's my business consultant. And I just, you know, I ask prompt, very detailed prompts of what I want to create and what I want to do and how I want to do it, and it gives me feedback right directly from the books. So it's kind of cool. It's like it's having your own business consultant right there in front of you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that is that is cool.
The Shift Toward Independent Medicine
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um were you uh were you surprised at how many? I mean, obviously in your field, in your world down in Florida, you were at a big quote unquote trade show. Was it uh what what was the buzz?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean it was uh you know, uh obviously peptides are still like on fire right now, so there's a lot of discussions on that, which is um you know always interesting to to talk about that. But I mean it the overall buzz, I think, is and a lot of people don't really talk about it, is the trend to you know towards independent medicine and and uh you know everyone kind of knows it that you know reimbursements are just you know gone and insurance model just completely cannibalized itself. So these, you know, and just that longevity medicine is just on fire, and and it's you know part of these there's so many new physicians that are trying to learn it and add it is because their patients are asking for it. It's like you know, these clinicians never had weight loss um as an option, but like that they'd lose those patients, so they better add it, you know. Um same thing is happening with peptides and hormone replacement. So um, you know, and I see the struggle that you know, and I definitely think this is a market gap for this, is just helping uh clinicians kind of structurally build out these programs, you know, compliantly, you know, for sure is definitely a need. So if anyone wants a business idea, there's one. Um you know, there's only so much that you can do as a non-prescriber, but there's definitely enough resources out there to help them. I mean, we all know, and we do, you know, we talk with our colleagues with Content Crib, and you know, a lot of them are physicians and surgeons, and and some of them are very you know very business oriented, but a lot of them aren't. They didn't go to business school, they went to school to practice medicine, so they need any help with that too. So um, you know, when you're in this space, you're a constant consultant on uh everything, all things medicine and and um business operations, you know, you just gotta be careful when you have those compliant conversations. But yeah, the buzz overall is people want better care. And you know, medicine is not paying what it used to in the insurance model, and people are willing to pay for better care too. So it's a good you know, it's a good meeting of all uh all things healthcare and people just getting you know better attention to and paying better attention to their health and ultimately paying for it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah, I I really feel a dramatic shift happening right now. It's it's you know nothing wrong if you work with an insurance company right now, but you know, insurance companies have fantastic profits and they're doing extremely well, and everybody's complaining about them. So that's a broken system. I don't care what anybody says. But you know, who wants to fix it and how they're gonna do it, I think this is the way.
Final Takeaways And Close
SPEAKER_01Yep. That is the way. Well, that's an episode.
SPEAKER_00Thanks.
SPEAKER_01All right.
SPEAKER_00So yeah.
