AI Agents And DoAnything.com Tease
SPEAKER_01Hey, talk to me about do anything.com. What what can I do with that and how do I do and I'm like, it's cool, man. So I've set up an agent that will analyze top creators on YouTube, the top ten that I like. It'll take all their videos and give me 20 points. I mean, and then it then it links the video. It's really cool. Anyway, I'm pretty much my wife's like, stop talking about AI agents. It's ridiculous. But it's very cool. But yeah, we're gonna talk about all that stuff at Content Crib. It's gonna be it's gonna
Book Launch And Why Trust Matters
SPEAKER_01be great. Alright, so drumroll, the book launch has occurred.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, I can't believe it. Yesterday was a super fun day. I mean, it was uh just a culmination of everything. I mean, it's been you know, I mean, you know, it's just the the messages were you know resonating with the exact people I I wrote it for. So a lot of you know, sellers, founders, leaders, and people in the business of you know wanting to build trust. You know, for people listening now that don't know, I wrote a book about a started about a year and a half ago, and uh it's called You Can't Automate Trust. So it was developed for um mostly as a sales blueprint operating in the AI era with some AI tools, but to use it wisely. And yeah, I had the launch yesterday, which is also my birthday, so it was getting closer to my birthday. I'm like, hey, this is just getting pushed back, pushed back for months. Why don't we just do it this day? It'll be super fun, take the day off, do some marketing with it, and uh that's what I did. So I just it was just a really fun day, you know. It was still, you know, took the day off from my from work, but I was still, you know, I still had some other work to catch up on, but mostly, you know, doing some of the book stuff and um it was just exhilarating, you know, and it it was you know a culmination of a lot of hard work and um yeah, yeah, really exciting.
SPEAKER_01So tell me, ten years ago, did you ever think you would ever write a book?
SPEAKER_00No, no, I didn't think, you know, no, no. I you know, absolutely not. I mean I have to I definitely have to credit a lot of it to um definitely definitely meeting you guys several years ago were a huge inspiration to me, just you know, learning from you guys, you know, you guys being you and Matthew, and uh, you know, taking the leap and just being a student of you guys and then obviously partnering up. So that was a huge thing. So thank you for all that. And then of course my wife, and then of course, sobriety. So I mean those are three of the big things, and then some other people I threw shout-outs in, you know, to you know, my my family, my parents, and a lot of cool mentors that just kind of you know shaped the idea of getting to this point, right? It's um and and part of the book also talks about sobriety and and uh using it as a uh cheat code to you know be a better marketer, sales rep, business person, all
Sobriety As A Business Cheat Code
SPEAKER_00that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I was gonna say I I I wanna I wanna I have to say this because I was like Heron Foundation, like Chris Heron, like so if you're older gentleman like myself, you'll know about Chris Heron. And if you're from New England, you definitely know about Chris Heron. And he's a um well, first of all, he is uh an ad drug addict and alcoholic, but he's sober now and he's created all these different, you know, he has I'm gonna I should let you just say what he does, but he's got all these different clinics that he has set up and he's actually been an I I I follow a lot of the stuff that he says and he talked about because as you know growing up I knew about him and he was just a fantastic basketball player that you know his life turned to drugs and now he's like helping people left and right and he's just awesome dude. And um he is from Boston. If you hear him talk, you know exactly where he's from.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so you know, so the Harem Heron Project is a national nonprofit, and like you said, founded by for former
Heron Project Donation And Recovery Support
SPEAKER_00NBA basketball player Chris Heron from the area. Um so the whole goal of the Harem Project is it provides free resources and support for people and families affected by substance use disorder, um heavy focus on you know navigating treatment, there's recovery support, family support, all those things and programs, you know, prevention programs in schools and communities. And you know, their main mission is to inspire and support and empower people to live healthy, fulfilling lives free from the effects of drug and alcohol addiction. Like you said, he had a he struggled with drugs and alcohol, professional NBA player. Um, and then yeah, 20% of proceeds of the book uh this first month will support the Herem Project, which is national nonprofit helping individuals. Um and yeah, so he's local ties and a big part of this book part of in in the book is talks about you know clarity, mindfulness related into sobriety, you know. It's the book starts with trust and discipline and honesty, honesty and doing business the right way. So it just felt the most aligned to make the launch, you know. Well, it's something bigger than just sales, and and really the inspiration for me to get here was definitely um rooted in in putting down alcohol, right? So I think that was a big thing for me. And and um yeah, just want to honor the the kind of work that helps people rebuild trust with themselves, and I thought that was a big big part of it.
SPEAKER_01Yes, awesome. Like when I saw it, it's like, oh, that's so cool that you did that. Um yeah, it's it's if you're listening and you are struggling, listen to the stuff that Chris has to talk about. Because well, Chris Gross and Chris Heron, you both have the same thing. Yeah, exactly. But uh Chris Heron, I one of the things I learned from him that was, and this is a podcast is not gonna go into you know the different tricks and tips for sobriety, but you know it's yeah, and you're also too. Yeah, yeah, 100% for seven years. Um, it's like you you he said something very profound that I learned from him years ago. It's like everybody's journey is different. So not everybody's gotta go to a 12-step program, and but if you do, fantastic, that's awesome. Do it. Yeah, you know, if your program is three steps and you want to go out in the middle of the desert and do what you want to do, do it. You do what works for you. And that was the thing that really like resonated with me about Chris and what he had to say. So anyway, that's what for me when I saw that, I was like, oh cool. I guess everything comes everything comes full circle. So super cool.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, that's that's really cool. I'm glad it I'm glad that and I had no idea that you knew him that well and all that. So that's that's a new learning moment for me. So it's super cool to hear that. And uh, you know, sobriety, you know, out being alcohol free and sobriety, you know, sobriety overall changed it changed everything on how I show up, and it really taught me it retaught me like what actually discipline is, being honest with myself, actual follow-through, and and trusting myself. And and obviously the book is about building trust with others, but sobriety taught me that it starts with rebuilding trust with yourself, and you know, there's a lot to that, but there's uh you know you know, I think that anybody that's listening that may have had any sort of addiction, whether that's Netflix or too many, you know, barley pops, you know, I think you realize that you know sobriety can give you or any of these addictions give you your future back in a lot of ways that you maybe didn't know that was possible. So to answer your biggest question of all, which is like, did you picture this 10 years ago to get back to it? Hell no. So yeah, so that's a long way of saying no.
SPEAKER_01Gotcha.
Where To Buy The Book
SPEAKER_01Well, I love it. That's that's awesome. So well, good. My book officially arrived. I was hoping for this podcast that I would literally like pick up the book and have it in my hand, but it's supposed to arrive any minute now from Amazon. Where is you can get the book? I'll let you pitch where you can get it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you can get uh you can get the book on Amazon. Um you could also get it at chrisgross.co slash book. They'll link you right to Amazon. That's gross with an E. Um, but yeah, Kindle and uh paperback. Audiobook is in the in the works, probably another month out, uh, but excited to also add that to it. So, you know, if I sell a couple hundred copies, I'd be very happy. Oh, you'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna blow through that, man. You'll blow through that. I just I saw the messages, man. I saw everybody going, yeah, this is great. It's a great idea, cool, awesome. Um, yeah, you you'll you'll you'll you'll do that exponentially.
SPEAKER_00It's very kind of you. Thank you.
SPEAKER_01Sure. Um, so when are you writing the next one? I'm sure.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's that's what my grandmother asked me. But it's funny. Uh I started thinking about it. It started thinking about the next one, but I think it's gonna be closer, you know, for a little little tease, I guess. It's gonna be kind of closer to what I do with my newsletter, which is the Precision Medicine Economy. So I think I'm gonna do something around that just because there's so much exciting stuff that I talk about seems to get a lot of traction. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's an awesome idea. Because I'll tell you, we we did the podc podcast talking about peptides and what you do, and man, it really it's doing well. So uh that's uh definitely well needed in the marketplace.
Content Crib 7 And AI Tools
SPEAKER_00But yeah, we have Content Crib coming up. It's gonna be here fast. You know, summer will be over and we'll be talking about getting back to Bentonville. I don't want to not discuss that. I mean, I'm talking to more and more people. I've had a couple conversations today with some new people uh that are just kind of floating around my realm that you know they they message me or we start conversations and LinkedIn DMs. It's like, you know, I love your content, love what you have to say. We you know, I say the same thing, and it's like, are you you know, how are you getting your your brand out there? Are you just posting content? Have you thought about different partnerships you can have? Have you thought about you know going to different networking events that are people doing similar things in that space? And you know, what tools are you using, those kind of conversations? Because what's really gonna be exciting about what's coming up for us in Bentonville is we're gonna dive into a lot of those tools, which I'm gonna hold you responsible and me responsible for making sure we have a bigger screen for Bentonville to do this, because I am concerned about that, but we are gonna do it.
SPEAKER_01You know what? I'm gonna write it down right now. I'm literally gonna write it down right now, big screen, and I'm going to email the lady today. Because you're right. Now you've got me freaked out, thank you. I was like, you're right, that TV is not gonna work. And um I was so excited about it.
SPEAKER_00I kept I kept I wake up in the middle of the night a couple times. I'm that much of a loser. I think about content crib. No, you're not.
SPEAKER_01I should just probably call you because I'm awake then too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but I'm like, I want to I want I can't wait to tell show people all these tools and these agents and all these things we're building uh and all the different technology pieces because we do tease that at some of our content cribs, and people like pull their chairs up and the you know really start to pay attention.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's uh I I get phone calls and messages like right now, like I had uh which I gotta return his phone call. But Jake, you know, sent me a called me, left me a message that I didn't pick up, I didn't get it, but anyway, I got it. It's like, hey, talk to me about do anything.com. What what can I do with that and how do I do it? And I'm like, you know, it's it's cool, man. I I I so I've set up an agent that will analyze top creators on YouTube, the top ten that I like. It'll take all their videos and give me 20 points. I mean, and then it then it links the video. It's really cool. Anyway, I'm pretty much my wife's like, stop talking about AI agents, it's ridiculous. But it's very cool. But yeah, we're gonna talk about all that stuff at Content Crib. It's gonna be it's gonna be great. I mean, it's it's really it's gonna harness everybody's desire for productivity. And I'm looking forward to hearing the audience, like, you know, a hand goes up and goes, Hey, I use this. Have you thought about coordinating this with this? And I I know it's gonna happen and I'm gonna learn a ton of stuff. And I na you know, anyway, everybody who says the whole thing about AI is this and AI is that and whatever it is, whatever you think it is good or bad, the one thing it can do is it can save time doing things that you used to do yourself. You know, like if remember when you used to create all these different spreadsheets for all these different things? Well, an agent can go out and get all that information, collate it, put it in spreadsheets for you, send it back to you each morning if you want sales documents that you want to be able to use. You know, I I put out a post about medical device district managers and I really struck a nerve with um I got some not so nice messages, and then I got some higher ups who were like, tell me how exactly you think this can work. And um, you know, essentially what I just said was like, hey, if you're a district manager or upper level manager that all you're doing is passing information from your rep to a VP who's then asking his secretary or assistant to put that into a report, you will be replaced. There's no need for you anymore because AI does it easily, and it takes all of about 13 seconds with an agent in the morning, and and how I know this is because I do it myself with businesses of my own. So it's don't be that person.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, it's just an insane amount of tools that you know I'm still learning and using, and I learned some of them from you, and vice
Why Content Crib Goes Yearly
SPEAKER_00versa. Just to talk about the evolution of content career, because I think it's important, you know, just going from all the way back to number one, it started with we need to build a community. I wasn't there, but I've watched the video clips enough to know and heard enough to be able to do it. That is where it started, right? So that is where it started in terms of we need to establish and build a community in the space. We have so many amazing people that we know that you know, we got to bring them all together. Yeah. 2.0 went to we we taught people the art and science of digital thought leadership, how to formulate it, right? From the startup all the way to daily thought leadership. 3.0 was super fun because it was case studies of community and um implemented digital thought leadership, so it gave people examples. So I think a lot of people hear about how to do it, but then they want to see how it's done. So that was fun. 4.0, more guest speakers to frame their experience even further. 5.0 went into more focused implementation on digital thought leadership within one's organization, and then 6.0, which was our last one, uh, was all about entrepreneurs, free agents, physicians, authors, one plus one equals three, taking ideas, applying them, and building them to awesome businesses, and just being inspired to take everything they learned, everything we taught them to use it to create to create their own businesses, create their own, you know, trust and authority and attention and pipeline. So amazing time, and then seven 7.0 coming up, yeah. Tools, AI, technology, all that fun stuff.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it's uh and then we're gonna shift to a yearly meeting. And and the reason we're gonna do that, because I've had some people say, Oh, well, you're just not getting enough people that are coming, like, no, no, no, it's it's not that. It's what we want to do is have a yearly meeting with a central location where we can harness a lot of different um thoughts and things that we want to look forward to in the future, bring all the g that together, and then add some kind of special sauce, you know, and when I say that I mean, you know, add some different breakouts that you know may entertain some others that want to do this or that or whatever the case may be, but it's still all under the auspice of having a community of people who are like-minded, think the same, and can learn from each other and work together. And so doing that once a year, it's it's tough for people to you know get two times off for a year, two weekends, believe it or not, and yeah, it's it's tough. So, but everybody can say, okay, one weekend a month in October, I'm going to wherever that may be, and gonna go to content crib. And so that's why we've just you know, for ease of scheduling for people as well.
SPEAKER_00It's a lot. I mean, it's a lot for us. We can barely I still worry that we're gonna schedule it and one of us not gonna be able to make it because our wives didn't tell us about something we have to go to, you know. So it's like that's a real positive emergencies, sudden shotgun weddings, who knows? I mean, I don't know. We who knows?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Don't have any shotgun weddings and we'll we'll be okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_01Um yeah, no, it's it's it's it's a lot, but you know, it's it's it's it's I I I'm I'm excited. I love twice a year seeing everybody, but once a year I think is gonna we can really get everybody because we have so many people who say, Oh man, I can't make it that time of year, or oh I can't make this or I can't make that. But if you know a year in advance this is happening on that weekend, everybody who wants to get there can get there.
SPEAKER_00Exactly.
Link Drop And Quick Wrap
SPEAKER_01Yeah um but yeah, so we'll uh I've got the I'll put the link in the in the show notes, whatever you're listening, or if you're uh on YouTube, uh it will be below. And uh content crib 7.0. And we're filling up fast. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at uh we're we're getting there pretty quick, so which is exciting.
SPEAKER_00Well that's a wrap.
SPEAKER_01That's it. All right episode number forty one. We are slowly getting to almost one year of doing this.
SPEAKER_00That's amazing. That is amazing.
SPEAKER_01So yeah.
