Welcome back my friends and if this is your first time here I am so glad that you found us.
We have a powerful energy building this week as we approach the new moon on October 21st.
A cosmic invitation to begin again.
If the full moon illuminated what needed to be seen, released, or understood, this new moon is your moment to take what you've learned and turn it into inspired action. It's time to plan, plant, and step forward with intention.
Every lunar cycle carries a rhythm. Reflection, release, renewal, and rebirth. The full moon offers clarity and culmination.
It shines a light on what's working and what's not working. And then as the moon wanes and fades into darkness, we move through a quiet space of reflection. When the sky finally goes dark again with the new moon, it marks our reset point.
This is the moon of new beginnings. It's the energetic clean slate, a time to set intentions, take action, and commit to the next phase of growth.
Think of it like turning the soil in your garden before planting new seeds. You've done the inner work. Now it's time to cultivate what you want to grow.
But before we rush into setting goals or writing affirmations, take a deep breath and ground into where you are right now. Ask yourself, what insights came to me since the full moon? What have I learned about myself in the last two weeks? What do I want to carry forward into this next phase?
When we pause to integrate what we've learned, our intentions become more aligned, not rushed, not forced, but anchored in purpose.
Once you've reflected, this is the moment to begin planning and taking action. The new moon isn't just about wishing, it's about co-creating with the universe in partnership. Every small intentional step you take is a signal of readiness, a declaration that you're open to growth.
To support this journey, I want to offer you a very simple ritual that you can try on or around the new moon.
First, create your space. Light a candle or sit somewhere quiet and peaceful. Feel your breath and settle in.
Two, reflect. Think back to the last full moon. What themes were showing up for you and what clarity did you gain?
Three, set your intentions. On a sheet of paper, write three to five things that you want to begin. New habits, creative projects, relationships, or simply ways of being. Be clear and write them in the present tense as if they are already unfolding. Some examples include,
I'm creating balance in my work and rest. I am open to opportunities that align with my purpose and my highest good. I am confidently taking steps toward my next chapter. Four, visualize. Close your eyes and imagine each intention taking root. See it growing, expanding, and thriving under the coming moonlight.
Five, take one small step. Before the next full moon, choose one small, tangible action that supports one of your intentions. The universe loves movement, and this is your signal of partnership with the universe or the God of your understanding to bring your life into alignment with your greatest and highest intentions.
This new moon this week arrives as we move deeper into fall, a season that may feel quiet on the surface but is deeply creative beneath it. It's the season of planning, envisioning, and preparing, the groundwork for what's to come in the new year.
The fall season is a beautiful paradox. The darkness of this season actually nurtures our brightest ideas. So even though it's not yet time to harvest, it is the perfect time to sketch out your garden, to outline your goals, set your intention and begin taking aligned action. The energy of the new moon tells us, trust your vision, begin again. What you plant now will grow.
As we step into this new lunar cycle, may you feel clear, confident, and connected to your own potential. The new moon reminds us that every ending is just a turning point and that within the quiet, there's always something new waiting to begin.
Thank you for spending this moment with me today. If this episode inspired you to set your own intentions or start a new ritual, I'd love to hear about it. Share your experience or tag me on social media so we can celebrate your beginnings together. Until next time, honor your rhythm, trust your timing, and keep planting the seeds of your becoming.
