Women are exhausted. Inflamed. Anxious. Burned out. And the wellness industry keeps handing them more protocols, more supplements, and more pressure — while completely missing the deeper conversation.

This is not a regular episode. This is UNMASKED — a new chapter of The Wellness Well and the most honest work I’ve created so far.

In this special edition episode, I’m sharing why I knew this podcast needed to change, what was happening behind the scenes spiritually and personally, and the truth I can no longer stay quiet about: women’s health is not just physical. There is a spiritual battle attached to exhaustion, chronic stress, inflammation, hormonal chaos, and the constant pressure to optimize ourselves into worthiness.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve tried everything and still don’t feel well… if you’ve spent money, energy, and hope chasing answers that never fully delivered… this series is for you.

Welcome to the Wellness Well, the place where faith and biblical wisdom meet God's design for healing and where Jesus Himself is waiting to meet you exactly where you are. I'm Heidi, a certified integrative health practitioner. And like the woman at the well in John 4, I believe our healing journey is so much more than fixing symptoms. It's about being restored to the person God always created you to be. This is our sacred space for honest, no-fluff conversations about what our body is really trying to tell us. Root cause healing that goes deeper than quick fixes and breaking generational cycles that have kept us stuck for way too long. So take a deep breath, say a little prayer, and meet me at the well. Hey friends, welcome back. We need to kick this off with the need I have to tell you something. For a while now, longer than I want to admit, I've been producing this podcast that is good. It's solid, it's true. The content is right and the framework is sound. But if I'm being completely honest with you, it hasn't always been completely me. And you deserve complete me. So before we step into what's next, before I drop a single episode of this new series, I owe you a conversation about what the wellness well is really about, about what's been stirring in me, and about why I believe what's coming might be the most important work I've done yet. So I'm Heidi. Welcome to the Wellness Well. And whether you've been here since episode one or you just found this, I am so glad that you are here for this moment because something is shifting, and I want you to feel it with me. If you've walked with me through the first two series, thank you, friend. From the bottom of my heart. Series one was me finding my footing, seasonal, foundational, learning how to show up and tell the truth into a microphone, and just trust that the right women would find it. And they did. You did. Series two, a season of deliverance, was the restored journey. Nineteen episodes, walking through every letter of the restored framework, the renewed mind, emotional wholeness, surrender, temple purification, offering, rest, exercise, discernment. We went deep. We went real. And something in that series broke open for a lot of women, including me, in ways I didn't fully expect. Those 33 episodes built a foundation, and I am so proud of them. But something has been stirring for months, like a holy restlessness that I just kept trying to organize into a content calendar and a pillar strategy and a launch plan. And every time I sat down to produce the next thing, something in me said, Nope, that's not it. That's not fully you. Go deeper. And I think I finally understand what it is asking me to do. And so we have series three, and it is called Unmasked. In full, it is the truth about your body, the enemy's lies, in the healer who's been here all along. And that title is not a marketing decision, it is a description of exactly what I believe is happening to women's health in the cultural moment, and what I believe Jesus wants to do about it. Here's what I mean: women are sick, not just physically, though, yes, the chronic illness rates, the hormonal chaos, the autoimmune conditions, the anxiety, the exhaustion that coffee cannot touch, all of that is real and it is rising. But women are also spiritually and emotionally sick in ways that the wellness industry is making worse, not better. Because the wellness industry, the supplements, the protocols, the detoxes, the diets, the GLP ones, the biohacking, the $300 morning routines, it is selling her a story, a very expensive, very convincing, very exhausting story. And that story is if you just do more, spend more, optimize more, you will finally feel well. That is a lie. And it is keeping her sick. And underneath that lie, if you're willing to go there, is a spiritual warfare conversation that almost nobody in the health space is having. Because the enemy knows something about a woman's body. He knows that an exhausted, inflamed, hormonally dysregulated, spiritually disconnected woman is a woman who cannot walk in her calling. And he has a very specific playbook for keeping her that way. Unmasked is where we name it all, where we pull back the curtain on the wellness industry lies, on the spiritual roots of chronic illness, on the root causes that functional medicine can actually identify and address, and on the healer who has been in this conversation the entire time. Jesus, by name, not a concept, not a vague spiritual energy. Jesus, the healer, the restorer, the designer of the body that you've been at war with. This is the series for the woman who has tried everything and still doesn't feel well. It's for the woman who loves Jesus but has never connected her health to her physical suffering. And honestly, this is for the woman who has never stepped foot in a church, who found this because she Googled why am I always tired or thyroid symptoms or what why doesn't anything work? She is welcome here. And honestly, she is who I want to reach the most. Because I believe the healer is in this conversation, and I believe that he was in it before she ever hit play. Unmasked is an ongoing series, no defined end. Episodes will come regularly and they'll rotate through four themes. The first being truth, spiritual warfare made simple and visible, the lies the enemy tells about your body, the agreements we've made without realizing it, and the scriptural identity that breaks those agreements. This is me and you and an open Bible. No theology degree required. The second is unmasked. Exposing the wellness industry lies with grace, with nuance, and with the root cause truth, it keeps leaving out. We're talking detox culture, supplement dependency, diet cycling, the longevity movement, GLP ones, the things nobody is saying out loud, said out loud. Third is the body. Root cause science with a biblical lens. What your symptoms are actually telling you, functional medicine and testing explained in plain language, thyroid, mold, hormones, deficiencies, gut health. Your body is not broken, hun. It's communicating. And this is where we learn to listen. And last but not least, women like you. Story, testimony, the face of transformation, and the honest, sometimes gut-punching truth about why so few women actually cross the threshold into real healing. These are the episodes that might make you pull the car over, the ones that make you text your bestie the link before it is even over. Every episode is 15 to 20 minutes, scripted enough to keep me on track, but real enough that you know it's me. And every single one is designed to leave you feeling one thing. This is spiritual warfare on my body, and I am done fighting it alone. So I want to be honest with you about why this feels urgent. I've been sitting with two passages of scripture that keep coming back to me. Mark 3, verse 6, a warning about voices that sound right but aren't. And Ezekiel 26, what happens to structures built from the wrong foundation? Together, they've been asking me one question over and over. Are you building this from truth or from pressure or from imitation? And the honest answer is sometimes all the above. Sometimes I was writing what I thought a faith-based health podcast should sound like. Sometimes I was performing the version of myself that felt safe enough to share. But unmasked is me deciding that I am done with that. I want to be so real with you. I want to be goofy sometimes. But always passionate. I want to be willing to say the thing that might not land perfectly, but it is absolutely true. I want to open my Bible and read you the verses that wrecked me that week. Not because it is in with the content calendar, but because it is alive. I want to talk about my daughter's health journey and what it has taught me about my own. I want to name the enemy's playbook, not to scare you, but to show you how little power he actually has. And I want to point you to Jesus every time, first foremost, always Jesus. Because here's what I know about the woman who is going to find this series. She is tired. She has been lied to. She has spent real money and real hope on things that didn't hold. She might know Jesus, or she might be on the edge of meeting him for the first time. But something in her body, something in her spirit, has been saying there has to be more than this. There is. And that's what Unmasked is for. Episode 34 drops next. We're starting with the most foundational truth I know. Your body is not your enemy. It never was. It has been your messenger the whole time. Subscribe so you don't miss it. And share this with a woman who is exhausted and searching. This is what we are going to do in this series. And I am so glad that you are here for this. Thank you so much for joining me today. True wellness begins at the well. We'll see you in episode 34.
