You know what if the problem isn't where you are, but how you're seeing where you are. Because sometimes life plants us in places we did not choose, in seasons we didn't expect, circumstances we wouldn't have picked for ourselves, and yet there we are. Today, my friend, I want to talk to you about a quote. I first got a little plaque from my late mother-in-law Arlene, and it said, bloom where you are planted. But that sounds simple, and yet it's actually really hard to live out. Because what do you do when you feel stuck? When you just can't seem to pick up and leave, or when life says, This is where you are right now. Now, stay with me because I'm gonna share one brave move that will help you grow even in the season that doesn't feel ideal. And some of us have been there. Now, I think sometimes we misunderstand the idea of blooming. We think it means everything has to be right in the right conditions, and it has to be the right timing, the right environment, the right opportunities. But nature tells us a totally different story, right? There are flowers that bloom in the desert with almost no water. There are lotus flowers that grow in muddy, murky, yucky, disgusting water, and they still rise up to um clean and beautiful so that we can appreciate them. Now, there are dandelions that push through concrete and grow where nothing else can. So ask yourself, why do we think we need to be having the perfect conditions to thrive? You know, sometimes we are planted in seasons that we didn't choose. Maybe it's a hard season for your business, or maybe it's that relationship that is being heavy and overwhelming, or maybe it's a transition that you didn't expect, or there's uncertainty, or waiting, or starting over. And you know, the truth is you can spend all your time wishing you were somewhere else, or you can decide, okay, how can I grow here, right? Right question, right answer. You know, because blooming doesn't mean everything is easy. Blooming means you're willing to put down the roots even when it's uncomfortable. Find nourishment even when you're not in a place that it's very obvious that this is nourishment. And you have to allow yourself to be prune so you can grow stronger. And let's talk a little bit for a second, because growth isn't just about adding more. Sometimes growth looks like letting go. And it's hard. I know you're probably saying, I don't know, I'm not ready to let go. But here are things that I want you to think about letting go of expectations, letting go of people you've outgrown, letting go of old versions of yourself are important because you can't bloom fully if you're holding on to what no longer fits. And here's the part that I really want you to hear. Just because the soil is difficult, it doesn't mean you're not meant to grow there. It might actually be the exact place where your strength is being built. So here's your brave mood, my friend. Stop waiting for better conditions and start growing where you are. And ask yourself, what roots do I need to put down right now? What are the nutrients I need? What are the people, the habits, the support? And what needs to be pruned so I can actually grow? Because your life isn't on hold. Your life is happening right here, right now. And even in this season, something is growing. Now, you don't need perfect conditions to bloom, friend. You just need the courage to stay, to grow, and to trust that something beautiful is being created, even if you can't see it. So if you're in that season that feels hard or uncertain, you know, it's not that you're stuck. It's not that you are incapable of things. You are planted and you can bloom right here, my friend. And I'm so appreciative that you're here listening. And I hope that you have subscribed so that you don't miss an episode. Subscribing means the world to me, and it helps this podcast be found by others. And of course, I would love a review.
