Feeling overwhelmed or trying to hold everything together?

This short meditation helps you let go of control, soften the tension, and calm your mind in just a few minutes.

Through slow breathing and gentle awareness, you’ll release the urge to grip so tightly, ease anxious energy, and return to a quieter, more peaceful state.

In this meditation you’ll:

• Soften your body and release built-up tension
• Let go of the need to control everything
• Calm your mind and reconnect with a sense of peace

You don’t have to carry it all right now.

Take a breath… and let it be.

Welcome to the Healing Minute. I'm Carrie, and right now, in this moment, we're going to relax and recharge. Find a comfortable position, sitting, lying down, or standing tall. And let's begin. Take a slow breath in through your nose. And gently exhale through your mouth. Let your shoulders fall away from your ears. Let your jaw soften. There's nothing you have to fix right now. Nothing you have to figure out. For this moment, you can stop trying to control what's already unfolding. Notice where your body feels tight, the places holding on. Maybe it's your chest, your stomach, your neck. Breathe into that space. And on your exhale, imagine releasing a little bit of the weight you've been carrying. Sometimes letting go isn't about giving up. It's about trusting that life knows what to do with what's heavy. You don't have to hold every detail. You don't have to push the river to flow. Breathe in calm. Exhale resistance. Breathe in trust. Exhale tension. Let this breath remind you that control was never the source of peace. Surrender was. So soften your grip. Let what's meant for you find you in its own timing. You are safe to rest. You are safe to release. You are safe to let it be. Take one more deep breath in. And out. When you're ready, gently bring your awareness back to the space around you. Wiggle your fingers and your toes. Find yourself here. Calm, steady, and whole. Thank you for taking this minute to heal with me, and I'll meet you here again soon.
