In this season finale, Where Our Consciousness Meets Miracles, we explore the mysterious place where awareness, healing, intention, and transformation meet. Through reflections on consciousness, the mind-body connection, the soul, and the unseen forces that move through our lives, this episode invites us to consider that miracles may not happen outside of us—but within us.
As Season One closes, The Heart Lady opens the door to Season Two: a deeper journey beyond advice and into lasting healing, awareness, and transformation.
Welcome to the Heart Lady Podcast. I'm your host, Susan Davis. First, I want to apologize for taking so long to give you episode 20. One of our precious kitties was critically ill, but is now on the men. I don't have backup episodes, so we are left with a gap. For the summer I will try to keep a regular schedule of every other week, and return to weekly in the fall. And please send me a message. Let me know your thoughts. Now on to episode 20, where our consciousness meets miracles. Today I want to lead you to the threshold, where awareness, our consciousness itself, becomes the meeting place with our miracles. Because I don't believe miracles happen outside of us. I believe they meet us somewhere within, in the space where thought becomes awareness, where emotion becomes energy, where belief begins to influence the body, and where something deeper than the thinking mind quietly comes alive. That place is in our consciousness, and maybe consciousness is much more than we've been taught. Science can study the brain, it can observe neurons firing, chemicals releasing, pathways form it. But consciousness consciousness is still one of the great mysteries. We know we have it, we live inside it every day, and yet no one can fully explain how awareness becomes our experience, how intention can change the body, or why healing sometimes arrives in ways medicine cannot predict. And this is where miracles enter the conversation, not as fantasy, not as magic, but as something deeply natural. A miracle may not be the suspension of nature, as I said before. It is nature expressing itself at a level we do not fully understand. We've seen this in spontaneous healing, in the placebo effect, in profound moments of intuition, the grief opening the heart to connect again, and the body changing when the mind changes, and people surviving what they were told they would not survive. Something happens, something alters. Before outward evidence even appears, it begins within our consciousness, within awareness, and within the relationship between body, mind, psyche, and soul. Miracles are not separate from us, they are woven into our very beings. Perhaps when we become fully present, when we move beyond fear, beyond old conditioning, and beyond survival long enough to feel what is true, we encounter miraculous in that space. I will share what I experience when this happens. It is something almost impossible to explain, because when it arrives, it is mind numbing. It feels as though something releases inside of you. A burden lifts. Fear loosens its grip. For a moment you feel weightless, and this is precisely when it happens. Not above us, not somewhere far away, but within us, moving through us, freeing us from the bonds we perceive as reality, shaking off the blinders, if only for a moment, just long enough for something extraordinary to emerge. So maybe a miracle isn't something we wait for. Maybe it's more like this, when we are in the dark about our future, when we do not know what comes next, and yet we move anyway. We try, we give it energy, we hold the vision and we keep walking, sometimes completely in the dark. Not because we are certain, but because something inside us says keep going. And then a door opens, person arrives, an idea appears, help comes, healing begins. Sometimes we call it coincidence, sometimes luck, sometimes prayer, and occasionally we are certain enough to call it a miracle. This is our consciousness in motion, our inner life reaching towards the world and the world responding. Not always in the way we expect it, not always in the time we hope for, but enough to make us stop and wonder. Maybe this is what miracles are, not lightning falling from the sky, but a meeting place between uncertainty and belief, between intention and action, between our human struggle and something greater moving within us. This is where it lives, this is where we meet that mysterious yet very real power, the force that can save us or someone we love, or help solve what feels impossible. It lives in us in consciousness, in awareness, something we did not create, and yet somehow this power carries us forward. I like to think of it as our soul communicating with our spirit, which is the direct link to our Creator. The miracles are the material of this realm, and in this realm we also exist, within us, where our soul, the spirit, and our higher power reside. And because it is within us, we must remind ourselves that our thinking and emotions will create for us obstacles or clear pathways. So even when we are feeling pretty much in the dark, lost and uncertain, just keep walking until a door opens or a person arrives or healing comes. This is where our consciousness meets miracles. I hope you have enjoyed the subject of miracles. I love sharing my thoughts. But now I'm letting you know that this episode is the end of season one and the step-by-step healing process I have shared through the episodes one up to twenty. For this next season I plan for something new and a little different. This next series sprouts from everything I've shared in these first 20 episodes, but now I want to bring the focus even closer to the heart of what this work truly is. Let's begin by thinking of it this way taking vitamins while still living on junk food versus receiving nourishment through the whole healthy foods. Both can offer something, but they are not the same, and that in many ways speaks to the difference I want to explore here. There is helpful advice and then there is a deeper healing. Advice can support us, it can motivate us, it can help us take the next step, but deeper healing asks for something more. It asks us to listen inward, to become aware, to understand what is going on beneath our pain, to work with the whole of who we are, mind, body, consciousness, history, and soul. So as I close season one, I invite you to a new door. Over the past episodes, we've explored healing through the mind, the body, trauma, grief, awareness, spirit, consciousness, and the miracles that can emerge when we stay present to our own becoming. With this new series, I want to take that conversation even deeper. Because healing is everywhere right now. Everyone's talking about it. There is advice everywhere, quick fixes, life hacks, motivational slogans, methods to feel better fast, and some of it can absolutely help, but healing that truly changes us usually asks for more. I will say this once again. It is the difference between taking vitamins while eating junk food, or receiving your nourishment through quality, whole food. Both may offer something, but one supplements the surface. The other becomes part of your system, part of your blood, part of your cells, part of how you live. That's what I want this next season of the podcast to be about. Not healing as performance or as another trend, not healing as something to quickly fix, then move on. But healing that is transformative, healing that enters the nervous system, healing that reaches memory and touches the unconsciousness, healing that changes how we relate to ourselves, to suffering, to the body, to the soul, and to each other. It's slower, deeper, and more honest, the kind of healing that doesn't just give us tools, but changes the ground we're standing on. So this next season is an invitation to move beyond quick answers, beyond surface language, and into something real, into awareness, into embodiment, and going deeper into understanding the intelligence already living inside you. And I am glad you're here with me as we begin. I would like you to hang on to this, my message for the future episodes. Advice can change behavior, but awareness can change a life.
