Don't give up on yourself, and don't settle for second best!

In today's episode of 'Can you hear me?' Kelly is joined by David Palin, author and psychological thriller writer.

David's writing journey began with his mother's mystical stories of growing up in India, and a novel handwritten in an A4 diary in his 20s – then tucked away and forgotten. It took a colleague, a one week deadline, and a dusty old bag in the loft to bring it all back to life. Since that moment, David has written 13 novels.

He shares his latest book, the third in his DCI Logan series – a story that is both a sequel and a prequel, and where Logan's journey truly begins. We hear about navigating the world of publishing, developing a thick skin, and why a good editor is worth their weight in gold.

David also opens up about what retirement really looks like when you have a passion, and why people need something that matters more than their work.

She wants to hear you, and shares here what's been heard so far. We all have a story, we all have something of value to share, we just need a safe space, the right ears, and a deep trust in what is felt. I'm beginning to understand the rest speaks for itself.

I invite you to listen in, get in touch, and if you'd like … be curious to live the question!
