Mary Shapiro

Mary joined the Senior Resource Team at Archer Law Office with over 25 years of healthcare experience that includes acute rehabilitation, skilled homecare, hospice and assisted living, Mary is well equipped to educate our clients about their various healthcare choices.

Mary credits her parents for her strong work ethic and drive to help people. Their patience, empathy and understanding are qualities she carries with her both in work and in her home life. Originally from Ocean County, NJ, Mary currently lives in Old Bridge with her husband Cliff, her 4 children and a dog named Molly.

Mary is co-founder of Straight Talk, a networking group that offers education and resources for professionals across all industries, co-facilitator of the Monmouth Ocean Network for Senior Service Professionals, former executive board member of BW NICE Ocean County, and a member of the Ocean Regional Ethics Committee and Caring Connections NJ & PA.

Shannon Johnson

Shannon brings more than 10 years of healthcare experience, with a focus on senior living. His career has given him a wealth of knowledge across multiple senior living disciplines, and he is passionate about creating meaningful connections and delivering exceptional care. Shannon’s love for serving seniors stems from the special relationship he shared with his grandparents, whose influence continues to inspire his work every day.


Beyond his professional role, Shannon treasures time with his wife, Kaylee, and their daughter, Sydney Jean. He also enjoys staying active as a college football referee, where his dedication and focus carry over from the field to the work he does for seniors.

Mike is a podcast producer, editor, and creative consultant with deep experience developing, launching, and growing shows across multiple genres. His credits include podcasts such as Illuminative’s American Genocide, Heavy Metal Presents: Putting the Science in Science Fiction, DIGA Studios’ Bad Ass Jews, and AMC’s Bottomless Brunch at Colman, among many others. Known for his strengths in audio production, storytelling, and workflow optimization, Mike helps hosts transform ideas into polished, engaging content. His work spans concept development, recording, post-production, and distribution, making him a trusted collaborator for both independent creators and established organizations.

Lisa M. Temporado

Lisa is the firms COO, overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations, managing staff and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and professional partners. She also leads the firm’s Medicaid division, working closely with attorneys and staff on Medicaid applications and asset planning strategies.


Before joining the firm, Lisa spent 12 years in management at Random House Publishing in New York. She brings both professional and personal insight to her work, shaped by her experience navigating her mother’s illness. Her mission is to ease the burden on caregivers, empowering families and making the Medicaid journey more accessible.


Lisa is a member of the American Society on Aging and has presented at its national conference, as well as to community partners and client families. She resides in Somerset County.

Amy Levine

Amy is the current Business Development Representative for Visiting Physician Services, a non-profit primary care clinical organization, that is part of the Visiting Nurse Association group and the Parker Advanced Care Institute. She focuses on developing relationships with health care industry partners and providing education to them and the community. Prior to Amy’s current role she worked in private home health care. She also worked for Jewish Family Services in Union County as the manager of the Senior Volunteer Program. Prior to that she was a marketing/sales representative in a variety of for profit businesses.


Amy is a co-facilitator of the Middlesex Caregivers Coalition Group. She was also one of the honorees of the 2024 East Brunswick Mayor Cohen’s Charitable Organization. She is an avid volunteer in East Brunswick and local communities. Amy also has an MBA in Marketing from Northeastern University.

Annette Murphy

Annette is the current Executive Director of Springpoint at Home, a NJ nonprofit for home care and Aging Life Care. A Fellow of the Academy of Aging Life Care with 30+ years in healthcare, she holds a Master’s in Social Work and Gerontology from Rutgers. She has served as a geriatric care manager, director of social work, support group leader, adjunct professor, and dementia care specialist. A licensed clinical social worker and certified advanced case manager, Annette serves on the ALCA board and advocates for aging experts through community engagement, excellence, and collaboration.

Carl G. Archer

Carl is the firm’s Managing Attorney, focusing exclusively on elder law, including Medicaid applications and litigation, veterans pension applications, guardianships, and estate planning and administration. He is a Certified Elder Law Attorney through the ABA-accredited National Elder Law Foundation and has been recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyers since 2012. In 2016, he was named a “New Leader of the Bar” by the New Jersey Law Journal.


A graduate of Rutgers University and Rutgers Law School–Camden, Carl began his career with a judicial clerkship in Somerset County. He has advocated for caregivers and families across New Jersey and New York, provides pro bono services through Legal Services of New Jersey, and currently serves as Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Elder and Disability Law Section.

Emily Baratta

Emily currently works as the Dementia Care Specialist at CareOne East Brunswick Assisted Living. Emily's work history includes working with the elderly population in a variety of settings including nursing homes, assisted living, and acute psychiatry. Emily is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), occupational therapist (OTR/L), Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP), and Positive Approach to Care Trainer (PAC Trainer). Emily is known for her kind heart and compassion towards people living with dementia.  Emily brings her dementia care expertise to assist staff and families with caring for each person living with dementia. She is instrumental in developing personalized care plans for residents using their life story and a positive approach to care. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, walking her dog, and spending time outside.

Hannah Berenberg

Hannah Berenberg is the Director of the Personal Care office of BAYADA Home Health Care in East Brunswick, NJ. She has been with BAYADA since 2019 and has supported in various roles across New Jersey. She came to the Middlesex County area about two years ago and has really enjoyed being able to connect with the community and learn about the resources offered in this area.

Kathleen Ann Jadoc is a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey with the Magsino Group at Keller Williams Towne Square and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist®. Before transitioning into real estate, she spent over 20 years serving in healthcare, including her role as Director of Admissions in a skilled nursing facility, where she supported seniors and their families through major life transitions. Today, Kathleen combines that experience with her real estate expertise to help older adults and their loved ones navigate the emotional and practical process of selling a long-time home and moving into the next stage of living. She is known for her compassionate approach, patience, and ability to coordinate trusted resources, from senior living communities to legal and moving professionals, to make the transition as smooth and stress-free as possible. Her mission is to ensure seniors and their families feel supported, informed, and confident every step of the way.

Michele Gidosh

Michelle Gidosh is a NJ-licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree and extensive experience in hospice, palliative, and dementia care. She has held roles from social worker to Executive Director and completed post-graduate studies at NYU. Michelle is certified to train healthcare staff in dementia care and wrote the “Ask Michelle” advice column. She founded Healthcare Gurus, a global networking group of 2,000 professionals, earning the Inspired Community Leadership Award for her work connecting and supporting the healthcare community.
