Tom Parkin is the co-host of Left East to West and a regular media commentator on politics jn Canada. 

While his current focus is building the podcast and other adventures, for most of his career Tom worked in the labour movement, supporting union representatives with research and training. 

Throughout that time Tom regularly helped the social democratic movement by running NDP campaigns in several provinces and federally.  Further back, Tom was political staff in the Saskatchewan an Ontario governments.
