If you’re married to a firefighter, first responder, or someone whose career means missed holidays, sleepless nights, solo parenting, and learning to carry more than you ever expected—you’ve found your people.
I’m your host, Emily, and each week I’ll sit down with firefighter spouses and other first responder partners for honest conversations about the realities of this life. Together we’ll talk about marriage, motherhood, mental health, identity, resilience, shift work, and everything in between.
This isn’t a podcast about having all the answers. It’s about creating a space where we can share our stories, laugh together, cry together, and remind one another that we’re never as alone as this life can sometimes make us feel.
Whether you’re brand new to the first responder world or you’ve been living this life for decades, my hope is that every episode leaves you feeling a little more understood, a little more encouraged, and a little stronger than the shift.
