AWP: The No Complaining Challenge

Last week on Instagram I put out a "No complaining challenge".
Since what we think and what we speak about creates our feelings, complaining will obviously create negative feelings, and it makes sense that we should eliminate it from our life.
The problem for many people is that complaining actually gives you (short term) energy in the moment, and the more you've done it, the easier it is to continue with the habit.
It takes awareness and constraint to stop the habit of complaining, and also realizing that the energy you get from it is very short lived, and you'll always end up feeling worse later on.
It's your attention on something that gives it life - so by you complaining you are essentially feeding that exact thing you don't want to continue.
Complaining is  victim consciousness  -  you don't realize it when you are doing it, but you are getting energy from people feeling sorry for you. And as you know if you are a listener of this podcast, this puts you as the effect - not the cause of your life.
If you want to create a fulfilling, aligned life then complaining has no place.
