Dr Sabine Dembkowski

Dr. Sabine Dembkowski is a board reviewer and advisor, management consultant, and executive coach. She worked with boards of listed as well as Private Equity-back, Professional Services and growth organisations in Europe and the US.

Sabine is credited with having identified the 'Seven Hallmarks of Effective Boards' and developing an innovative Board Review platform. The 'Seven Hallmarks' have been peer-reviewed and published in the US, the UK, and Europe. 

After completing her studies in Germany and England, she held various leadership positions at Kearney and Monitor Company (now part of Deloitte) in London. 

Her articles on boards, leadership and executive coaching are published in renowned handbooks and international journals such as Harvard Business Manager, The Corporate Board, Real Deal, Accountancy Futures, The International Journal of Mentoring & Coaching, and Business Coaching Worldwide.

Appointed in March 2021, with over 25 years’ experience in banking and financial services, Jason has previously worked for Royal Bank of Canada, Santander, and Barclays. As a Company Secretary, Jason has supported Chairs with board succession, board skills assessments, board composition, and building and running high-performing secretariat teams. He considers his primary role to be supporting the board and ensuring his directors have the best quality information and environment to make the best decisions.

Moya Hayhurst is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute with over 25 years of corporate governance experience across multiple industries including mining, financial services and insurance. She has a proven track record of leveraging technology to ensure governance functions efficiently meet the needs of the business. Her recent experience includes navigating Structural Reform at Barclays Plc, building agile teams at Royal London and leading the governance transformation at Canopius. She is currently part of the Centre for AI in Board Effectiveness (CAIBE) research team, whose mission is to progress AI’s role in board effectiveness and help board ecosystems adapt.

Professor Katja Langenbucher

Katja is a law professor at Goethe-University, affiliated professor at SciencesPo, Paris, and visiting faculty at Fordham Law School, NYC. She has held visiting positions at Sorbonne; WU Vienna; LSE; Columbia, Fordham and PennLaw School and will join NYU Law Global Faculty in 2026. She holds supervisory board positions at BaFin, Germany, and IEP, Paris, and was a supervisory board member at Postbank, Germany.

Sir John Tusa
