SPEAKER_01A couple of honorable mentions. Well, the Bomburgers are what it was it, uh PRG. Use your words. R P F G P F it's not three letters. And that's uh that's that's I don't it's not hard, but at the same time, I don't I get them mixed up. I had the right letters, I just don't get them in the right order.
SPEAKER_00If you don't know if you don't know at home, PFG. I mean RPGs are probably different.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's what the terrorists used to blow up Americans. That was that was a great bottle that we had out.
SPEAKER_03And then so for those of you that don't know, Bomburgers is made by our friend Dan over at Victor's. Yep. So shout out to Dan. Great bottle this year. I agree. Andrea Wilson. That's right. Andrea Wilson. And I agree. I mean the Bomb Burgers line is just fantastic. Any other honorable mentions of that?

SPEAKER_04Big shout out to Matt and Augusta Bourbon and for the 13 year that they brought this year and put out. It's a single barrel. And also, like I say, Matt, they're doing great things at Augusta Bourbon.
SPEAKER_03So that was one of my picks that wasn't able to make it to the table. That wasn't because it was anything short about it. It was just because we just had to eliminate the bigger bigger thing.
SPEAKER_01What people don't realize also is once you open a bourbon, when you open it and you drink it, then you're then you go about and keep it keep the keep the notes in your head. But when you start to taste head to head to things, things change. Once the bottle's open. For instance, uh Jerry's batch, Booker's, was by far, when I tasted it, uh, it got the highest rating this year of the other two of the the three that we tasted. But when we did Bookers of the Year, uh on On the Pond or what is it? What's it called? By the Pond. By the Pond actually took between the three of us for Bookers of the Year the honors opposed to Jerry's batch, which I would have thought would have taken it. But after having them open and all three open for a while, the closeness was very they were all very close, but by the pond was able to take it. So once you open a bourbon and then you get to this point, if it's early on in the season when they all hit, sometimes how they m oxidize changes the flavor, and it and when you get to this point and when you're tasting them all blind, it it makes a difference.
SPEAKER_06I have an honorable mention that.
SPEAKER_03And I was gonna say, my my only I'm sorry, my only comment is what the hell does that have to do with honorable mentions?
SPEAKER_06But so the Star Hill Farm.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but uh honorable it was Booker's. I the honorable mention was Booker's.

SPEAKER_03And I'm gonna give you a because I I did a fresh crack of the Star Hill Farms and it was terrible. And then let it sit open.
SPEAKER_06Just for like about yes.
SPEAKER_03So I I had mine cracked. Let it sit open. And I and I did have it open a little bit here and there as I was drinking it. But man, after about a month, it just changed.
SPEAKER_01If you guys if you go by Ed Boy, who does Old Stubborn, and you're he talks about wheat wheat whiskeys. Wheat whiskeys are very no no no, they're that's del they're delicate. So they gotta sit for a while. So what you're talking about is the Star Heel Find Farm is not a bourbon, it's a wheat whiskey. Or maker's mark or papy or weller, all those. You always want to let them sit for a while before they become competition because they get they they're a more delicate grain than a rye, than a wheat. The wheat grain is whatever, so you want to just let them sit for a while.
SPEAKER_03So again, we're off the honorable mention path. TV, what's your honorable mention?

SPEAKER_04I remember a couple years ago. You you were wrapped up.
SPEAKER_03I'm trying to trade. I know, but we could do that at once. So but op 21 I thought was really good. I will be honest with you. I I I cracked my cellar age. And again, I did the shaker, shaker because I didn't want to get an eck core. And I I didn't love it at first, but I really did a couple weeks after you opened it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So when we did Cellarage this year, 25, 24, 23. Yeah, the 24. 24 ended up winning. It did. But 25 was what she loved. And 23 had kind of faded, 24 had come into its own, and 25 still, but she loved it because 25 is just got a little bit more of that Chardonnay oak.
SPEAKER_07It does.
SPEAKER_03But I will tell you now it might it's a dryness to me. I mean it's it does, it has a complexity.
SPEAKER_02And that's a good and that's a good bring-in to a backup because really, like had we had a 25 sitting here ready, readily available. I do it dropped this morning. I have a cell A's 25.
