The Resilience Movement
Resilience is the ability to bounce back after adversity and create a life you love. It’s not about avoiding struggles but learning how to rise stronger each time life knocks you down.
After facing my own personal challenges, I’ve worked hard to uncover the keys to bouncing back. Through this journey, I’ve strengthened my own well-being, self-love, joy, and connection. In this podcast, I’ll share the “how-to” of resilience—offering tools, techniques, and real-life examples of people who have overcome:
- Trauma
- Divorce
- Job loss
- Family breakdowns
- Personal struggles
Resilience Is a Muscle 💪
Just like any muscle, resilience needs consistent work to stay strong. It’s not about a one-time effort—it’s about showing up for yourself every day.
I’ll explore:
- Practical steps to build your inner strength.
- Stories of resilience from others who’ve turned their pain into power.
- How you can tap into your internal power to overcome any adversity.
Your Takeaway
Resilience isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build. When you work on your resilience muscle, you can face life’s challenges with greater confidence, knowing that you have the tools to bounce back and thrive.

The Mirror We Hold – Modeling Self-Love for Our Children
The Mirror We Hold – Modeling Self-Love for Our Children
🧡 Episode Summary:
In today’s deeply personal episode, I share a moment that changed my life — the day I realised that how I was treating myself was teaching my children how to treat themselves.
This one is for every mother who’s ever said:
“I just want my kids to love themselves.”
Because here’s the truth that hit me like a tidal wave:
How could I expect them to do that… if I wasn’t showing them how?
I was staying silent to keep the peace.
I was overgiving.
I was putting myself last.
And while I thought I was being strong and loving — I was modeling self-sacrifice, not self-worth.
💔 The guilt and shame I felt when that awareness landed was overwhelming.
It was a level of confronting I wasn’t prepared for — and it almost crushed me.
But that moment of truth? It became my turning point.
In this episode, I talk about:
- The hidden messages we pass down to our children through our own self-worth
- How I found myself in therapy, unlearning generational patterns
- Why self-love is not selfish — it’s legacy work
- The simple, powerful shifts I made that changed how my children see themselves (and me)
If you’re a parent who’s ever questioned how to raise emotionally healthy kids — this episode is for you.
It’s raw. It’s honest. It’s real-life growth.
💬 I also leave you with a reflection:
What are your children learning from how you treat yourself?
