Volume 1 rebuilds the basic picture: a world where ghosts, miracles, spirits, angels and demons are probable, where Genesis and the Gospels are one continuous story, and where God is a Mother rocking you to sleep, a Father crossing the room to hold you after you’ve scraped your knee.
