Welcome to Overwhelm is Optional, the podcast for big-hearted, highly driven professionals who are ready to turn overwhelm into clarity, ease, and joy. I'm Heidi Mark, the Gentle Rebel Coach, and in each episode I share insights, stories, and practical tools to help you gently rebel against the pressure to push on through. Because you matter. How you are in the world matters. It's gotta be dealt with. It's gotta be used and turned into more joy, more ease, more of all the things you want. Overwhelm is no longer optional. So I feel constrained now by this podcast. Not surprisingly, because I've changed, because this stuff worked. It it was an experiment. Five years ago I just started talking to a microphone. I wanted desperately to share what I'd learnt about making overwhelm optional for myself because I blamed overwhelm for my burnout. Now I don't. Now I I don't first blame anything, but I've just I've gotten deeper, fuller, richer. There's so much more to share. I can't share it here. It feels wrong. Overwhelm is optional. No, it's no longer optional. Everything's changed, everything's got so much better, so much clearer, so much fuller, so much more exciting. And I can't wait to share the next adventure of my journey on this gender rebellion where I'm gently but firmly rebelling, not just against overwhelm and the overwhelming to exhaustion burnout cycle, but against self-doubt, imposter syndrome, waking up in the morning, losing that certainty that I had the day before that I was excited about my day. That roller coaster, I'm done with the roller coaster of emotion. I want a lot, so therefore, I need to be even more skillful. So this is the next up level. Here we go. I'm inviting you along for the ride. I'm so excited. So go over to Apple or Spotify now and subscribe to the Deep Heartfelt Success podcast and join me on that adventure. I can't wait to see you over there. Thank you so much for listening and for being part of the Overwhelmers Optional podcast. If you want to continue the conversation, please do connect with me on LinkedIn, Instagram or YouTube. Let me know your thoughts. I love hearing from you.
