We’re here to normalize nuance in relationships -- from romantic, platonic, familial, and everything in between- and to create a space where deep conversations and dumb jokes can coexist. With sexuality being an important factor for BOTH parties (Alix being gay, and Kayla not knowing what the heck she is/was), it made things confusing and complicated.
This episode is an inspiring, sweet, and laughable love story for people of every gender, orientation, and background.
Although this experience closely parallels Kayla’s “coming out” experience, it’s one that can be understood by anyone who’s nervous about taking a leap and trusting your heart.
