Finlay MacLaren BSc, MSc is a strength coach, nutritionist and podcast host of the Chatting Fit Podcast. He is an advocate of Low-carb and animal-based diets. Finlay excelled in Rugby and Olympic weightlifting until injuries curtailed his progression. After spending years battling a knee injury and searching for rehabilitation methods, he is finally pain free. During this search, Finlay rediscovered the benefits of a low-carb, high meat diet as well as refined the fundamentals of what creates strength- both physically and mentally. Having experimented with veganism, vegetarianism, keto and several other diets, he is confident that there are human-specific ways to eat. Finlay wants to give a platform for voices in the nutrition and diet world to push back against the Anti-meat narrative and help people reclaim their right to a healthy life. He is the author of Bio-hack Your Sleep: Achieve the sleep you've always dreamed of, which is available on Amazon.
