Okay. Well, Sarah, welcome to the Friday Society podcast. I feel like I followed you for such a long time. I don't even know how we got connected. I'm obsessed with your content. I'm obsessed with Thank you. You speak to your client in a way that is so fun and relatable, and it's just enjoyable. Like, you make content so fun to absorb. And I love that you always say, like, you wanna work with clients that you wanna take out to brunch, and I feel the exact same way. Where did that come from? Like, were you getting brunch with someone and you were just like, okay. Like, this is what I want. Like, where did the brunch thing come from? Because I love it. Yes. And thank you for all those kind words, but I wanna backtrack for a hot sec because I totally remember how I found you. Oh. I found you. And and this is so this is so perfect. I'll get into a little bit of my story, but I think I found you on Elizabeth McCravey's podcast. And it was one of the podcasts that I was binging right before I left my speech therapy job. And every guest that anybody would have on their podcast, I would follow them, and I probably sent you a message Yeah. Because I was just, like, so incredibly inspired and just wanted to get into the worlds of everybody and, like, eat up everybody that was on these podcasts. Yeah. And that's literally how I left my speech therapy job is I would listen to business podcast on my way to work. I would I would follow these people, and I would just, like, act as if act as if I was just one of them. And so I remember, like, last night, I'm like, I have to find where I found Alexa. And so I searched you on Apple, because that's the only place I would listen to podcasts. Uh-huh. I'm an Apple podcast. Like, let me okay. No. I don't know that one. I don't know that one. It was Elizabeth McCravey's podcast. Oh my god. That makes me so happy because that I mean, that was a while ago now. That was probably, like, at least a year and a half ago. I think it was in 2022 because that's, like, when I was I left. Wow. So that's how I value. Oh my god. I love that so much. I love her. Her podcast was also it was, like, one of my very first business podcasts of, like, when I was just getting started. And I also love the I think she speaks to her audience in a way that is so down to earth, but also inspiring. And, like, I just I think she's such a genius. I love her. Yes. Yes. And I thought you were such a genius, and so I followed you. But anyway, back to back to only working with clients that you wanna take out to brunch. So, I mean, listen. When I first started getting clients, I was doing full service social media management. Now I've moved into the business mentor content strategy, let's make you money from your content path. Mhmm. I was doing social media management, and I was literally working with anybody that would pay me. And some of these people would literally give me heart whenever they texted me. Yes, they texted me. I gave my phone number out when I first started because, of course, why wouldn't you give out your phone number? Big mistake. Mhmm. And so as I started working more and as I started seeing my worth and how good I was at my craft, I'm like, do I wanna work with people that give me heart palpitations, girl? And the answer was absolutely the f naught. Yeah. And so I'm like, the only way that you attract people that you wanna go to brunch with is by literally speaking to them in the way that you would speak to them at brunch. And so if you guys follow any of my content on Instagram or TikTok, you will hear me calling you Honey Boo Boo. You will hearing me cursing up a storm. You will hear me talking to you like we are literally about to have a bloody Mary together because that's the kind of client that I wanna call in. If you are so disconnected from who I am as a person and vice versa, As as online service providers or, I mean, people listening to the podcast, I mean, you guys probably have to do lots of face to face. Mhmm. That's not enjoyable for anybody. Mhmm. And so that that's kind of where that whole thing came from. I love that, and it's so it's so important. And it it really speaks to, like even just when I messaged you yesterday, and I was like, okay. I'll send you notes. And you're like, whatever. Like, I was just like, I know her already. Like, there was no I wasn't like, I don't know what I'm gonna say to her. Like, I was just like, I know you were ready because through your content, it feels like we just hang out. Like, I've never actually met you face to face. It feels though as if, like, we are just friends and, like, you're just like my business bestie in my pocket telling me how to, like, sell on social this week. Like and that is so important. And And I also just think, like, from the holistic business perspective, when you're not that like, when you're not fully yourself, you're not gonna have as good retention because people are gonna meet you then. And the first few times they meet you, they're gonna be like, oh, this is what she's like. I wasn't really sure about that. And, like, they're not gonna have that entire preparation. So I just I think, yeah, I think in so many different ways, it's so brilliant. Oh, thank you so much. And listen. This has taken me years to land in this spot where I feel comfortable to and I'm telling you, you guys. Like, if we go out for mimosas and bloody marys, like, this is the sour you will get. But it has taken me a while to feel comfortable taking up this space online Mhmm. And feeling safe being seen and feeling safe putting out content and opinions that not necessarily everybody might agree with. Mhmm. And also coming from the speech therapy background where everything needed to be very crisp, clean and professional. It's taken a lot of shifts. And a lot of I mean, if you're listening, maybe you come from a corporate background where you're like, is this okay? Can I say this? Mhmm. And and what I've come up with is it's it's my corner of the Internet. Yeah. I have control to say and do what I want here. Yep. And if people are a total f yes about it, then they're gonna come hang. And if they're not, they can see their way out. Mhmm. I love that. Okay. Let's backtrack now because I didn't even know you came from a speech therapy background. Yes. Walk me through how you became now on Brand by Sarah, like, this amazing social media coach. Like, how did this all transpire? Yeah. So I was only a speech therapist for, like, 3 to 4 years. I worked with very high needs populations in out of district schools, meaning that their home district, their public school either didn't have the resources to accommodate them or they were they had a lot of behaviors or it just wasn't safe for them to be in their public school setting. And so I worked with a lot of nonspeaking and minimally verbal kids. I worked with a lot of kids that were very aggressive, and to be quite transparent, I burnt myself out Mhmm. Really quick, really, really quickly. And I'm like, there has to be something more. There has to be something where I don't dread waking up every single day and going to work. Mhmm. I'm also a chronic illness girly. I have migraines and fibromyalgia, and so my energy and my pain tolerance is not always great. Mhmm. And so I just started listening to business podcasts on my way to work every single day, and I just started acting as if I had been doing this forever. And I did whatever I could to get my first clients. And within 6 months of acting as if I left my speech job, and I'm not now listen. I'm not saying that it's gonna only take you 6 months to leave your full time job. Mhmm. I have this thing, this silly goofy thing where, I like I I'm very all or nothing in a lot of ways, and so I just went ham on on building up my clients and replacing my income because to me, there was no other option. I could not be miserable waking up every single day and going to work. Yeah. And I'm like, this is the only path. Yeah. Wow. I literally feel like you've been doing this for decades. Not I mean, like, you're obviously not old enough to be doing this for decades, but I still feel like there is some I I just think that's amazing. If, like, you just acted as if because it's I literally feel like you've this is just the only job you've ever had. Like, that just feels, you know, the way you come across. So I think that's so amazing. Thank you so much. And you know what? Not everybody will agree with this advice, but I I think there is this certain sense of fake it till you make it when you're a beginner. Oh, yeah. And I'm not saying that you need to do things that feel unaligned. I'm not saying that you need to lie to people. I'm saying that there there is a benefit of of this acting as if thing of saying, of course, I'm good at my craft. Of course, I'm confident enough to do this. Of course, I'm gonna show up on Instagram and Tik Tok and let my voice be heard. Like, I would be doing my people a disservice if if I wasn't doing that. Do I fully know how to do this yet? Mhmm. That Sarah had no friggin idea, but I just pretended like I did. Yeah. And it was quite literally the best thing that I did for myself. Yeah. And, Sarah, in another year and a half, is gonna be like, what was I doing back then? A year and a half ago. It's like, you know, it's that age old thing of, like, when you were 16, you thought you knew everything. When you were 20, you thought you knew everything. Like, and it's like, you look back, and it's so true. And I feel like the older we get and, like, the more mature at least I get in my business, the more I'm like, okay. A, what was I doing back then? And b, I still don't know anything. Like and, you know, it's like, yes, you get more experienced and you build up more expertise, but there is still that level of, like, I actually don't know where the business is gonna be in 2 years or 3 years or 5 years. I'm, like, I'm down with that. Like, that sounds really exciting. Whereas, like, I think when you first start, there's this, like, okay. It has to be a certain way. Yeah. Yeah. And let me tell you something. So the great thing about TikTok is it pushes your content out years later. And so the other day, I got some traction on this video from, like, 3 years ago. Uh-huh. And that version of me looked so uncomfortable on camera, and I couldn't have been more grateful for her because she still showed the f up. She still was talking on video. Yep. And because she did that, I am now able to show up how I do now. Wow. And so it's like there is that sense of like, oh my god. Like, poor girl. Like, you look so uncomfy. But then there is this other sense of, like, thank you so much for showing up. Oh my god. I would've seen him. I feel like he senses your dog next to him. He's like, I just need to be able to relax. So Yeah. Our dogs are are now joining in on the podcast for anyone that is is just listening. But Yeah. But, yeah, there is there is this sense of gratitude that you end up having for your beginner self or yourself x amount of years back Yeah. That allows you to show up as the powerhouse that you are in this very moment. Yeah. I mean, the fact that TikTok showed a video from 3 years ago, like, that seems I've I've heard of the algorithm. Like, the TikTok algorithm is obviously very different than Instagram, and I've heard of, like, 3 weeks, maybe even a month video kinda resurfacing. I've never heard of 1 years. That is just Oh, yeah. And that's a daily that's a daily occurrence occurrence for me. So I've been showing up on TikTok for 3 years, and I have videos that I coincidentally use very good search terms for back then that will get me traction, like, every single week. Like, I have a series on hooks where I give video hook examples on there. Yep. I posted that some of those, like, 2 years ago. Every single day, I'll get traction from those. If I ever do, like, a tutorial, which we can actually talk about why I'm why I don't villainize how to content on TikTok. But if I do some kind of tutorial or how to content, that gets me traction years later. So it's the algorithm is so good, and it's also a search engine. And so it literally keeps on giving. Mhmm. Okay. You brought up hooks. And I I obviously have so many other questions too that I wanna ask, but you brought up hooks. And I think this is important. And you posted recently about how Instagram was really liking your, like, hooks series. For anybody listening who maybe is so out of the loop with social or feels really behind. Right? Because that is often what I get from clients, and they're just like, I just don't know how to do it. I feel so behind. What's a hook? What's an example of 1? And, like, let's put one into practice, so to speak. Yeah. And, you guys, if I say anything during this podcast that you're like, Sarah, what the f are you talking about? Please message me on Instagram, and I will clarify it. I try and not be too jargony. So just just message me and be like, what are you? What were you saying? So a hook is a captivating statement or a captivating visual that happens in the first 3 to 5 seconds of your video. So let me give you an example for health and nutrition people. Mhmm. So instead of starting your video with, like, hey, guys. Here are 3 things that I'm gonna show you to improve, the look of your glutes. Mhmm. I would want you to start that with, like, I have been getting the best booty workout from my living room, and I'm gonna show you how to do this all from your couch. Mhmm. Like and the way that I think about hooks is starting at the peak of my story. So what what is my person going to be most interested in? Mhmm. They don't wanna hear, hey, guys. Happy Tuesday. I'm just popping on. No. No. I wanna know that I can do a glute workout from my couch and get the butt of my dreams. Like, start there, and then you got me. Yeah. It well, okay. So how does this also then play into, like, email subject lines? Oh my god. You guys, you can literally take your talking points from your video and make them into email. I do it all the time. So my subject line would be, let's get you the best booty from your couch. Mhmm. My talking god. I love that. Yeah. My talking points would just be every everything, like, every a, b, c, d that I hit on in the video. Yep. And your call to action could be a link to your workout app. It could be a link to fill out an application to work with you 1 on 1. Mhmm. But you can literally take that same exact subject matter and use in your emails. I love that so much. Yeah. Hooks are awesome. You guys definitely follow her because she has amazing hook examples, and I think you made it in series. Oh my god. Rocky. Yes. It's a it's a big series on TikTok. I'm, I'm gonna start bringing some of those videos over to Instagram because people are liking them on Instagram. But I have a whole, if you go to my TikTok at on brand by Sarah, I have a whole playlist at the top of my profile that just says hook examples. And you can binge hooks from like, I do examples from like, a bunch of different industries. I love that. That's amazing. Okay. You posted about something. It's so funny. Literally, when I asked you to be on the podcast, like, a month and a half ago or however long ago that was, I wrote down in my notes in my phone, like, ask Sarah about bookkeeper example. Obviously, when I went back to my notes, and I was like, what the heck was I talking about? And so then I searched your content for the bookkeeper example, But I loved that. So you had a post about how to never run out of content ideas. Yes. And then you said, like, okay. If you're a bookkeeper, you know, here's how you would do it. Can you recap kind of that post? Because I thought it was awesome. And maybe then how that would apply to, like, a fitness studio or, like, a nutritionist, so to speak. Yes. Did you find that on TikTok? No. Instagram. Oh, I guess I did post that to Instagram. Okay. I like I love to absorb content on TikTok. Yeah. My algorithm is funny dogs, and, like, that's it. I don't interact with, like, business content on TikTok. So I never it never gets shown to me. But on Instagram, it does. So but, yeah, that's where I found it. Wait. Let's we'll we'll touch on that after I give this example because I actually wanna I wanna talk about that because that's a misconception that people have of like, should I only consume business content on TikTok? We'll we'll get to that in a second, but Love it. Okay. Alexa saw my video about how to never run out of content ideas, and I did an example for bookkeepers. I like to do examples of my content, guys, of of very specific industries so I can run through very specific examples. So I literally drew out a diagram, and I want you to picture, like, a flowchart from elementary school or even picture, like, umbrellas. Mhmm. And so, like, the main big umbrella at the top was, okay. You're a bookkeeper or a CPA. Mhmm. Then I drew three lines off of that big bubble, and I said, okay. What might be three things that they talk about? And then I said, one of them might be financial planning. One of them might be softwares that they use. One of them might be, emotional intelligence and your mindset with money. Then off of those bubbles so let's go mindset with money. Maybe we maybe we'll draw another line and say, okay. Let's talk about your relationship with money from childhood. Okay. Let's talk about the feeling in your nervous system that you get in adulthood. Let's talk about how to regulate emotions then so on and so forth. And so those little things have their own. Every bubble every bubble has more lines. I could have gone on and on and on and on and on. Yep. What I want you to picture is I know that people say, like, have content pillars, inspire, engage, entertain, promote. And that's all well and good. Believe me. Like, the the basis of that is all well and good. A 100 I'm not laughing at people who say that. I'm laughing at myself because I am guilty of that. Just to be Yes. And I totally was too. Yeah. But then I'm like, hold on. If somebody is coming to me for social media and marketing help, they need specifics. Mhmm. They need specifics. So if you are a nutritionist, let's say you're a nutritionist that helps with binge eating. Mhmm. I don't want inspire, entertain, engage, promote. Mhmm. I want to be able to give you, okay, Here is my content on intuitive eating. Here is my content of nervous system regulation. Here is my content of, external tools that I use, like maybe support groups or apps or coaching. Yeah. I wanted to get so specific and tangible that I can hold it in my hand. Mhmm. And then that is where people are like, oh, I'm really clear on what to create next because I can pull from my apps bucket or I can pull from my nervous system regulation bucket. I can pull from my, meal ideas bucket. Mhmm. And so when you get so laser focused and specific, creating content doesn't it it stops being this very ambiguous thing, and it starts to become so incredibly concrete. Mhmm. I love that. Would you recommend then because I know a lot of the like, the question that I get asked then from something like that would be like, well, should they all be reels then? Should they all be carousel? Like, that would oh, that's guaranteed gonna be, like, the next question. So what would you say to somebody if they were like, well, should these be stories then? Like, what should I do? So I'm gonna tell you what I do, and you guys take what you like and leave the rest. But here's my content flow. I think of my original idea one time and it starts on TikTok. So let's do a concrete example for you guys. Right. So say say my my very first original idea is arm an arm workout and what people mistakes that people are making with arm workouts. Mhmm. So I'll make that a talking video on TikTok, and I'll say, like, I want you to I want you to avoid this mistake with your biceps workout so you don't end up in the hospital like I did. Mhmm. And then I do a talking video. I could take that same exact idea and make it into a carousel with the hook, my verbal hook. I can make that my written, cover on a carousel and then your talking points can be the body. I can make that into a trending 7 second reel and say, please avoid this bicep workout mistake so you don't end up like I did, more t in the caption. Then I could take that same exact idea and make it into story slides of, like, I'm about to tell you something I'm a little embarrassed about as a fitness coach, but I want you to avoid this mistake and do story slides about it. And then I can take that same idea and make it into an email. And so you see how you could take that one idea and stretch it a long time. Yeah. So smart. Okay. Let's go back to this my own personal hang up about TikTok and Instagram and personal content, business content. Because I do. And I know this is turning into, like, a social media therapy session, and so I appreciate you being my social media therapist. No. I love that. I love that. I'll be I'll be your social media therapist. I feel in a very good groove on Instagram with balancing business and personal. Like, that I feel like I'm in a good groove about. TikTok, I just don't I feel like my algorithm is all of my personal interests and none of my business interests. So, like, yeah, I know you said it's a common misconception. Walk me through kind of how how other people go through this and what you advise. Yeah. So I'm going to use myself as an example because I hear all the time from gurus that, like, you should not be scrolling dog videos and Broadway show tune videos on your business account because then you're gonna mess up your algorithm and blah blah blah blah. Mhmm. You guys, I have been on the app for years. I've only ever used my one business account. Mhmm. I only create business content on there. However, my algorithm is full of online business content, Broadway show tunes. Mhmm. Risa Tisa. I don't know if anybody has ever, watched her. She is the woman that just did the 50 part series. Uh-huh. When I tell you it is a miss mishmash, it is. And when I tell you that is the best thing for my business and your business, it is. And I'm gonna tell you why. When we are so stuck in our own worlds, nutrition content, fitness content, social media content, photography content, we end up, first of all, comparing ourselves like no tomorrow. Mhmm. 2nd of all, it's like the same stuff over and over and over again. You get so uninspired. Yeah. By seeing the stuff that is working and popping off in other industries, it has helped me so much to get inspired and creative and leverage what was working for 1 industry or one kind of content creator into my brand. Mhmm. And so please don't think that you need to have one Instagram for your dog videos. 1 I mean, sorry, TikTok. 1 TikTok to watch dog videos, 1 to watch Broadway show tunes, 1 to watch Reese's. No. You can consume whatever you want on your business account. I promise you it's not gonna mess anything up. Good. However, if you're like Alexa and you're like, I am not getting, like, any business content on there, the best thing to do for your algorithm is actually to put it into the search bar and search for who you wanna be connected with. So you might search for people in the health or fitness world. You might search for people in the online business world. Mhmm. For a lot of the listeners, you guys really don't have to worry about it because a lot of you guys are B2C, meaning that you're not marketing to other business owners. So you're good. You're all goody. Yeah. It really doesn't matter to you. Yeah. And so, that's my best advice. If if you want more tailored content in your algorithm, TikTok is very sensitive and good at this. All you have to do is put it into the search bar. Okay. I love that. Alright. I wanna transition a little bit into and I think this is a really relevant time, because Instagram is still down. Meta is still down right now. Yes. As soon as we got on to this podcast, we were like, no for you. It's down for me. So I this is just the funniest thing in the world. I wanna talk about having a call to action on your insta on your social media posts and why that's important. I call it to the Friday society members. I call it your PS statement. Like, I I'm just like, okay. What's your PS statement? What do you wanna say at the end? PS, come join my email list. PS, like, come take class with me. Because social media is such a fantastic gift that we have been given in a tool for brand awareness, but that inherently isn't what's bringing in the dollars. Right? So that I wanna talk about your perspective on a call to action, your tips, and then also, like, a link versus a chat automation platform. You know? Everything kind of, how to make it easier, how to make the call to action easier, I guess. Yes. So I'm all about making things simple for myself as a business owner, but also simple for my audience. Yes. And that's what I want you guys to keep in mind. Yeah. I don't know about you, but when I am just scrolling as a consumer, my brain is like in mush land. I need you to spoon feed me what you want me to do. And a lot of our audience members feel the same. Maybe it's maybe they want to take action or they want to do a next step with you, but they have no freaking idea what that even is or what it looks like because you haven't told them. Mhmm. And so let's talk about the feed on Instagram first, and then we'll talk about our stories. Mhmm. So on Instagram or TikTok, if you're doing a talking video, I have actually found it more beneficial to put your call to action at the beginning of the video versus at the end. Mhmm. I know that a lot of the times we've been taught to put our call to action at the end, and I'm gonna give you guys examples of call to actions. Okay. But I find that people will drop off before the end of our video, miss the call to action, and then it's kind of like a loss for us because we could have been giving all this juicy great information, and then they totally miss what they should do next. Mhmm. So an example of this might be my favorite crock pot recipe is cooking right now. If you want the, if you want the link to this, comment crock pot, and I'll send it right to your inbox. But I'm actually gonna go through how I made this entire thing. Oh, wow. Okay. So it's not like, here's my favorite crockpot recipe doing the whole recipe, and then at the end saying comment crockpot because maybe I have dropped off by them because I've already gotten all the steps Mhmm. And I'm gone. So smart. Now the reason that we're telling people to comment a word, is because, hopefully, we are sending them to either a paid offer or we're sending them to an opt in for a free resource. Mhmm. So say this crockpot recipe, PDF is a free resource. We send them that link, they put in their name and their email, and they get it sent to their inbox. Mhmm. The reason that a lot of us have stopped saying link in bio is because let's go back to making it simple for our audience. Mhmm. That's another step, another layer of friction that they need to take in order to get to that Crockpot recipe. Yeah. Yeah. We want it to be so simple and so easy for them that, like, as they're watching us and listening to us, they could literally be typing crockpot as you're as you're going along. Yeah. And, this can be automated on Instagram, not on TikTok yet. So I use a platform called ManyChat. Mhmm. And, it's super simple. It's literally like an if then thing. Like, if somebody comments this on my video, then Mhmm. This happens. They get sent a link. They get sent an opt in page. What have you? Mhmm. So that's my recommendation for the feed is try and put your call to action before you get into the meat and potatoes of what you're talking about. That's so smart. I've never thought to do it that way. Yeah. It's so smart. And it's also, like the thing about many and I I was just having this conversation with someone the other day, because I'm in I'm in process of of building, like, a a something I'm excited about. Anyway It's huge. I'm like, by the time this is out, it'll probably be out there, but I don't know. Anyway, she kind of was like, it's important because with social media, someone's, like, at a party. Right? Like or they're in, like, decompression mode. Like, when we're watching Risa Tisa, right, I'm like, I don't want someone else to pop up and be like, hey. By the way, leave the app and now do something else. Like, you are you're dialed into social media and, like, not for nothing. They're created to be. They really pull you in. And, like, we're not going against that. Right? Like so I think, like, what I love to say too in some of just, like, stories is, like, just message this, and then you'll have it in your inbox when you're ready. Right? Because, like, I get like that. I'm like, I don't wanna stop scrolling. Like, I'm, like, here to, like I have 10 minutes in between meetings. Like, I wanna just, like, chill out for a second. Like, you don't wanna be directed somewhere else, and that's all that's just, you know, why I think ManyChat is such a great example. Yeah. It's great. I'm I literally as soon as I got ManyChat for myself, I put in, like, you you can drop, like, recommendations. I'm like, please make this so we could connect TikTok because people want it on TikTok too. I posted, that how to make how you're gonna make money from your content on Instagram. I posted that on TikTok as well. I didn't know how it was gonna do because it was literally about their competitor platform. But it did okay, and people commented social for the link to my free private podcast. It's unfortunate for me because now I need to send it manually. Yeah. But it does, and I should actually share I should literally share a screenshot with ManyChat, but, like, people have that same Mhmm. User behavior of, like, I'm here. I don't necessarily wanna leave. Yeah. Let me comment this and get it, and I'll get to it when I can. Yep. Yeah. I love that. Now on stories, it's a little bit different. I'm a big proponent of selling in your stories. I actually have monetized Instagram way more of my stories than I have in my feed. Mhmm. And so I do this 2 ways. 1, you can put a link right in your stories, so that's fabulous. So I don't want to see any link and go to the link in my bio. I don't want to see any of that on your stories because you can put an external link. Mhmm. The other way I do this, and this is good for people who have a little bit of a higher ticket service. So maybe you're doing 1 on 1 or group coaching, You know, maybe you have a higher ticket intensive or maybe a VIP weekend or something like that. I have used the poll feature, and I'll give you an example, as almost like a lead generation invitation to sell. So what I do is, I'll do, like, a a series of story slides, saying, like, you know, here here's what I just achieved with my client. Here is here's the the message that she sent to me, and then I'll have a story slide that says, like, are you ready to x y z? Are you ready to have the booty of your dreams? Are you ready to stop the binge and restrict cycle? And then I'll have somebody, vote in the poll and say, like, yes. Send me more info. This is on my wish list or, you know, soon. Mhmm. When this happens, I like to think of it like dating. Like, sometimes people want your help and they wanna make that connection with you, but they don't know how to make the first move. Mhmm. This goes back to the fact that marketing is literally human psychology and relationships. Yes. Yeah. Especially for us, service providers that are working, like, 1 on 1 or in a a small group with people. Like, you have to have relationships with your people. Yes. And so, when they vote, it's like they're extending their hand to be like, hey, Sarah. Can you make the first move? Yep. And then you can get into their DMs with a voice message with, you know, something that just feels like they're not just a number. Mhmm. They're not just a transaction, and this has converted so well for me. I love that. I love sending a voice note. Mhmm. It's Oh, I'm a voice note, girly. So much more personal. I just think they're so great. Yes. I love that. And that's another downfall of TikTok that I hope they fix soon is that you can't send voice messages on there. And Yeah. It it truly is like when I get a voice message from someone, like, I really feel like I know them. Like, I feel like I'm in the room with them, and that's that's how you want your people to feel. You want them to feel so comfortable with you that by the time they need what you're helping with, it's like a no brainer. You're so top of mind, and and it's like they're coming right to you. Mhmm. I love that. Okay. I cannot believe our time is almost up already. This is insane. I'm gonna have to have you back because I really wanna do I've there's just so much to go into and, like Yes. I mean, social media really is an entire profession. So thank you so much for sharing your tips with us. Before we get into rapid fire questions, how do you work with people? How do you work with business owners? I know you have, like, that one day program that looks real fun. So talk to me about all your different offers. Yeah. So the best next step, if you wanna get into my world, is to do a 1 hour strategy call, which is literally, like, we lay out a road map of what are you doing on social, what are your offers, how can we make this work on different platforms VIP weekend, which is where we get 30 videos done in a weekend, all scripted out, captioned, hash tagged, what have you, by me. All you have to do is show up and press record. I love that. And then, truly, I post so much free content on my TikTok and Instagram at on brand by Sarah. So do. It's so it's your content. Do some creep in there, and you will learn so much. I promise. Amazing. Yeah. I'm yeah. She's a fantastic follow, you guys. Like, I wouldn't just say that. Thank you. Like, you have to follow her. Okay. Are you ready for some rapid fire questions? I'm ready. Okay. What is software that you cannot run your business without? Software I cannot run my business without is Dubsado. Oh, okay. Yes. That is where I do all of my contracts and invoices and calendar and lead capture forms, and it all lives there. Okay. I've heard people talk about it. I've never played around with it, though. Really? Yeah. Oh, what do you use? I just use, like, Stripe and Zapier. Okay. Yeah. I need to you guys, I'm all about simple. So but, yeah, it's just, like, one general hub for all of that. Love that. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Right here in New Jersey because I need to be close to New York so I can go see my Broadway musicals. Mhmm. And I love being close to the beach. Uh-huh. Yes. Yep. I'm a Long Island girlie, and I feel the exact same way. Yes. I gotta be close to the city. I gotta be close to the beach. I gotta be close to mountains. Like Yes. Gotta be close to JFK. You know, it's it really is it is cold, but so many things make it worth it. Yes. I don't mind the cold. Yeah. I wish I could say the same. Advice you would give to your younger self? Nothing is going to work out the way that you are planning, but it is going to be fabulous. Wow. I love that. Yeah. Yeah. Great. Like, what's that saying? Like, you make plans and God laughs, so the universe laughs. And it's so true. It is so true. Okay. Last one. True or false? Done is better than perfect. Oh, so true. I love that. I put so much out into the world before it's perfect. Uh-huh. And, like, the most successful people I know do the same because it's never gonna be perfect. And the the quicker that you realize that, the more successful you will be. Mhmm. It's so funny. I was so curious about your response on that one because, like, I found different people depending on what their industry is. Like, I think we I had an author one time, and he was like, oh my god. False. Like, it has to be perfect. But I was like, I get it. Like, for a book that's like, it's this one print. That's what it is. Like, that makes sense. For social media, it's like, just get it out. Like, the content is important to just get it out. So yeah. Yes. Is that interesting? Yes. And along with that, what I always say my favorite strategy on social media is is the f around and find out strategy, but with the full word, which I'm not I won't say on here, but it it truly is. And effing around and finding out is never perfect. Yep. Yeah. Oh, I love that. Sarah, thank you so much. I don't think you mentioned your Instagram handle and your TikTok handle. I will put them in the show notes, but what are they so people can look you up right now? Yeah. It's at on brand by Sarah on both. Amazing. Thank you so much, and especially thank you for coming on when Instagram is down, and I'm sure you're My god. Of course. Clients messaging you and emailing you. So thank you for being here, and I will definitely be reaching out for a part 2. Yes. Absolutely. Thank you so much for having me.
