Need To Take a Break? | How To Know When It’s Time For A Vacation | FNBB 73
On tonight's reading of the Friday Night BeerBlog, we are talking about how to know when and why to take vacations. EVERYONE needs to take a break - recharge - sharpen your saw ... whatever you want to call it. And if you don't, you risk total burnout.
And it doesn't have to be much and it doesn't have to be for a long time, but it has to be deliberate. Like you have to be all in and dedicated to it to suck every last bit of benefit out of it.
I was at DECON 2 just a couple weeks ago and I knew I was headed to DECON 1 - through DEFCON Mike - and a cell and wifi break came at the exact right time to rescue me.
I know there are more of me out there that are pushing far too close to the danger zone. Trust me, take a break, and then see you will see and experience the forward movement you've been working so hard for.
