Honoring Anxiety and Listening to Your Body in Sobriety
In this episode of the Sober Vibes Podcast, I’m talking about something that every person in recovery experiences at one point or another — anxiety.
I share about my own recent bout with anxiety and what it taught me about slowing down, listening to my body, and giving myself the compassion I deserve. Sobriety doesn’t make us immune to anxious thoughts or feelings, but it does give us the tools to honor them instead of trying to numb them.
Remember: you’re not broken. You’re human, and you’re healing. Anxiety isn’t a setback, it’s your body asking you to pay attention.
This episode serves as a reminder that we’re all works in progress, and it’s okay to take a breath and recalibrate.
