In today’s episode, I’m sharing a spontaneous dinner date with my husband that perfectly captures what it’s like to live life after conquering binge eating. We decided to make homemade sourdough and cauliflower crust pizzas, honoring my craving for pizza but making it in a way that felt good to my body no guilt, no overthinking. It was a beautiful, simple evening where food wasn’t the focus, and the best part? I felt completely present with my husband, enjoying the moment rather than obsessing over what I was eating.  This is the freedom that comes with conquering binge eating, Being able to be spontaneous, savour the experience, and live your life without food controlling your every move. I dive into how conquering binge eating gave me the peace to have these types of dates without it being all about the food. It’s about balance, living in the moment, and knowing that food will always be there when I need it but it’s no longer the main focus of my life.
