The Pelvic Floor Project
10. The pain in your vagina or pelvis with Jill Mueller
Show Notes

Pain is a common symptom that people experience. The most common that bring people in to see a pelvic health physio are:

  • bladder pain
  • pelvic pain (SI joint, pubic symphysis, hip)
  • tailbone pain
  • pain with intercourse
  • pain associated with periods
  • pain in the vagina, anus or vulva

In this episode we talk about:

  • What pain is and what it is trying to tell us
  • Why pain sometimes doesn’t go away
  • How our brain and body gets increasingly sensitive to pain
  • The role physiotherapists play

Our goal of this episode is to help you understand that your pain is real.  It’s not all in your head…but it kind of is in your head… because it is all about your brain.
