There are things you never got to say.

The words you swallowed to keep the peace.
The questions that never got answered.
The anger you weren't allowed to express.
The grief that still catches in your throat.

Maybe it's your ex.
Maybe it's a parent.
Maybe it's someone you've loved deeply and lost.
Maybe it's a version of yourself that disappeared somewhere along the way.

In this special Dear Divorce Diary VIP episode, Dawn, Joy, and Coach Tiffini hold space for a different kind of healing.

Not a meditation.
Not a visualization.
Not another lesson to learn.

Just a safe place to tell the truth.

Because sometimes healing gets stuck when our thoughts, feelings, disappointments, and heartbreak have nowhere to go. We wait for understanding, closure, an apology, or one more conversation. But what if the healing begins when you finally give those words a place to land?

Grab your journal, a pen, some crayons, or simply your breath. Let your body guide you as you explore what has been waiting to be expressed.

In this episode, you'll:

  • Create space for the thoughts and feelings you've never been able to fully express
  • Explore grief, anger, disappointment, and unanswered questions in a safe and supported way
  • Learn why healing can stall when emotions remain unspoken
  • Experience the power of witnessing and validating your own truth
  • Begin releasing the burden of carrying it all alone

You don't have to be fair.
You don't have to be understanding.
You don't have to get it right.

You only have to be honest.

Because sometimes the deepest healing happens when you stop waiting for someone else to hear you—and finally hear yourself.

Take a breath.

We're right here with you.

A Different Kind Of Practice

SPEAKER_00

Today we're doing something a little different. This isn't a meditation or a visualization. It's about creating a space for you to say things that you never got to say. Maybe because the person you feel the urge to speak with is your ex or a parent or someone who's hurt you or someone you've loved deeply and lost.

Imagining A Safe Room Together

SPEAKER_00

Maybe someone who's no longer here. Whoever's coming to mind as I'm speaking, I want you to trust that. For the next few minutes, Tiffany, Joy, and I want you to imagine that you're sitting in a room with the three of us, and you've got this burning desire or urge to process something, to talk about something, to talk with someone that just doesn't seem accessible. And I want you to imagine that we are tending to you in this moment. One of us is maybe brushing your hair, and another is serving you a cup of tea, and there's just this space for you to say the things that it doesn't feel like you could access anywhere else. The person you want to talk with may not be here in the physical, or maybe they won't understand, but you can understand, we can understand, it can be understood, it can be released in your body.

Why Healing Gets Stuck

SPEAKER_00

For so many women, healing gets stuck because there are thoughts, feelings, disappointments, grief, anger, questions, truths that don't have a place to land. Maybe you've swallowed them, minimize them, convinced yourself they weren't important. Maybe you spent years trying to be the bigger person. But today you don't have to do any of that. What you say doesn't have to be fair or right or understanding. It just has to be honest and raw.
