Good marketing should include both an internal and external strategy for your business both of which are vital for success. Often business owners have the best intentions to either manage the marketing of their business themselves or get 'the receptionist to take care of it.
Now I am grateful for the second option as that is how I got my start. However in either situation give yourself the best opportunity to succeed by getting outside advice and help.
