John 4:27–38 | Comfort | Harvest | Sow
In John 4:27–38, Jesus challenges His disciples to look beyond their immediate comforts and embrace the work of God's kingdom. While they are concerned about food, Jesus reveals that His true satisfaction comes from doing the Father's will. He then invites them to lift their eyes and see a harvest that is already ripe—a reminder that God is always at work, preparing hearts to receive the gospel.
In this episode, we examine the tension between choosing comfort and embracing God's calling. Jesus teaches that faithful disciples are willing to sow seeds of truth, love, and hope, trusting God to bring the harvest in His perfect timing. Whether we are planting, watering, or reaping, every act of obedience has eternal value.
