5. Self love: the what, why and how
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Self love is very subjective and very open to interpretation, and it might well feel very, very far away.
But this episode is practical, immediately implementable to work to feel better about yourself and towards yourself.
We look at a definition of self love which is from positive psychology:
"Self-love is valuing yourself as a human being who is worthy of love and respect."
So why work towards self-love? Actually, self-love often feels selfish, like it's just for you, you're taking time to work on yourself for yourself... and of course that is true, but it's not the full story. When you're in a good place, and you might know this from experience, when you feel good about yourself, you're easier to be around, and you also inspire others to do the same... So don’t hang about, get listening for you *and* your loved ones.
