Nourished & Free: The Podcast
Nobody likes talking about their relationship with food... so let's talk about it.
Welcome to Nourished & Free®: The Podcast, where mental health meets physical health, food guilt gets ghosted, and toxic wellness advice gets roasted. 🔥
Hosted by Michelle Yates, MS, RD, LMNT, a Registered Dietitian with a master’s in Health Psychology and Certified Health Mindset Coach.
Here, science finds self-compassion. Michelle breaks down the why behind food struggles, from binge eating and emotional eating to body image, perfectionism, and “food noise” that won’t quit. Expect honest conversations, expert insights, and mindset shifts that go far beyond meal plans and macros.
Because true food freedom isn’t found in another detox plan, it’s built from the inside out.
⚠️ Fair warning: logical, realistic, reasonable, and evidence-based methods will always be encouraged.

as someone who is a Christian and someone who has problems with binging, I appreciated this episode that meshes faith with food
Hi watching you tube video in reference to nourished and free -OPTAVIA plan. OMG everything that’s being Alizabeth former client spoke about is so true. Thanks for posting. I was so desperate; took the bait hook line and sinker. Now rebuilding my mindset as I was and sometimes today still obsess about the scale. Melonie Singleton.
this was an amazing podcast loved it
I just heard your podcast about getting out from Optavia!!! I am about to take some blood work done. What you have mentioned I am experiencing. On top of that I took one of the weight loss shots and has made things worse!!
I just listened to your AIP podcast & to say it truly helped me is an understatement. I just recently got diagnosed with Hashimotos & since then I have been obsessing over what I can eat, what I can't eat. It's consuming me. I'm scared that every thing I eat is not right, it's going to make me feel sluggish or it's just going to make me gain more weight. I cut gluten out the day I found out about my autoimmune disease per my dr recommending it. I have since then gained weight. Please help..
