[00:00:00] Did you know that customer reviews are gold for your business? Most people. Don't ask for them often enough. I'm guilty of that. And when they do get a great review, they don't know what to do with it. Well, that changes today.
In this episode, I'm showing you how to use AI to make reviews work harder for you, whether it's getting more of them or turning them into marketing content that actually converts.
By the end of this, you'll learn how to use ChatGPT to write review request messages that don't feel awkward, how to turn great reviews into powerful content for your website and social media, and how to keep your brand voice consistent through it all.
Welcome to AI Simplified the podcast for entrepreneurs, [00:01:00] creators, and small business owners who want practical stress-free ways to use AI in their content and marketing. I'm Kristina Stubblefield, digital marketing strategist and creator of the Pre-Baked the Oven Method. Let's simplify AI so you can create faster, show up consistently, and feel confident in your content.
We've been using a fictional business all month. Radiant Roots HaIr studio and we've been walking through how to use ChatGPT step by step. If you are just jumping in, go grab my free quick start guide at aisimplifiednow.com/pre-bake-the-oven, it walks you through a simple fill in the blank method to help ChatGPT, learn your voice, what you do and who you serve.
So the results you get actually sound like you. That's what I call pre-bake the oven, and we use it at the start of every [00:02:00] project to get better content faster. Today we are opening up a new chat and ChatGPT, dropping in our pre-baked ingredients and walking through how to generate review request scripts from email, text, or in person, how to take existing reviews and turn them into multiple types of content and how to stay consistent across platforms.
This is the last episode in our Watch Me use AI series where I've shown you real examples of how to get your content and marketing task done faster with ChatGPT. We started with your Google business profile, then wrote a blog post. Then we turned it into five social media posts, and today we are focusing on customer reviews.
And actually this episode connects perfectly with episode one, where we talked all about your Google business profile. That platform is not just a place to post updates. [00:03:00] It's also a great place for your reviews to live. That's why it's so important to make it easy for people to leave you a review. You want to send them somewhere simple like your Google business profile listing and having a bunch of high quality reviews there, that's going to help you show up in local search, build trust, and convert browsers into buyers.
Here's the thing, reviews aren't just social proof. They are a persuasive copy. Straight from your client's mouth. You can use them in your marketing on your website, in social media, email campaigns, sales pages. The list goes on and on. They help future clients see themselves in the transformation you offer, but you have to use them.
And guess what? You also has to ask for them. Let's open up a fresh ChatGPT window [00:04:00] and let's get started.
I'm ready to dive in and do some demo because I believe this is one of the most underutilized opportunities when it comes to reviews. So let's get started. So if you've seen the past few videos, you know, we've been using a fake business, Radiant Roots Hair studio based in Louisville, Kentucky. So I'm gonna copy all of this pre-baked ingredient information and let's copy this and we're gonna head on over, to ChatGPT.
And let's tell it, here's some information about my business and we're gonna paste this in. Okay? So now I have some prompts already put together. So let me pull those up. And let's see here. So first we're gonna start with [00:05:00] asking for reviews. Gosh, I don't know about you, but. It can be difficult to put into words how you wanna ask for reviews, and I love that AI can help with that.
So let's get this prompt in and hit enter. And again, these are just prompts I'm using for demo. You are welcome to change the prompts, add to them, but here you go. Here are three polished options. Um, that are uplifting and boutique style voice. So loved your hair. We'd love your review. That's the subject line for an email request, not Hey, will you give me feedback?
We're hoping you're loving your new look. If you have a moment, would you share your experience with Radiant Roots? Your feedbacks, help other women and men find their perfect stylist and keep our small business growing strong. Now, it's really important. Make sure you take the time to put your link in.
Bonus tip, [00:06:00] if you pre-bake your Google Review link, you don't have to change it out every time, as long as. AI knows what it is. Like a program like ChatGPT, I would tell you I would always verify that that link is correct. Before sending these, now, one of the things that I wanna show you, uh, here's a text message one.
Um, and here's an in-person conversation. You know, say that you have opportunities, but you're just not sure what to say when you're in person. Well, here you go. Hey, I am so glad that you love it. If you have a minute later, would you mind leaving us a quick review online? It helps other people in Louisville find us.
Again, you don't have to memorize this word for word, but at least it gives you some nuggets of information to have. For when you're finished with someone's hair. So let me remind you that having the back and forth [00:07:00] conversation with AI tools is so incredibly important. So one of the things I'm going to say is in the email, please remove emojis.
Maybe you're someone that doesn't want emojis, so again, it's gonna come in and it's going to remove them for you instead of you copying it out into Word or Google Doc and taking the time to delete it, have AI do that for you. Now let's move into one of my favorite things to show people, so here's a prompt that I've put together.
Here's a real customer review. So go out to your Google reviews or wherever you get reviews and you wanna put those to work for your business. So we are taking this information. Here's a real customer review and we're gonna have it turn this into a Google business profile, post social media, post a testimonial for our website in a sentence we can add to an email signature and you could add any other place.[00:08:00]
Wherever you want to put out content in regards to the review. So let's copy this. Let's get this information in here. Let's paste it and let's hit enter so we can see the magic happen. And here we go. Here's a Google business profile. Post fresh confidence every time I've never felt more confident after a haircut.
Ready for the experience. The same book, your personalized consultation today. Here's a social media post. Here's a website testimonial that you can use, and here's this just a quote that you could put in your email signature. So many opportunities to utilize feedback and reviews that you get from clients.
Now, don't forget though, if there's wording in here that you don't want. Please take the time to tell it. Also, let's just say as you're going down through here, you're [00:09:00] thinking, you know what? I would really like to post an Instagram reel about this. Well come in and just say, um, I would like to post an Instagram reel about this as well.
Give me ideas. It doesn't have to just churn out content for you. It can help you give ideas. So here's this confidence transformation, a slow pan of the salon chair with a soft background music. I've never felt more confident after a haircut that would be overlay text and that you can show a s stylist finishing touches and show a picture of the client smiling or with their new haircut or color.
And then the closing text has your business information with a tagline. That's the beauty of ChatGPT or a program like it is to help get ideas [00:10:00] how to put content out, um, but also help with content wording, um, so you're not staring at a blank screen or it's spending so much time trying to come up with post.
Okay, so I guess if we've talked about using a positive review, let's, let's talk about how you can use it to address negative reviews. So what I've done is I've put together, first of all, let me say this. If you get a less than review, whatever you wanna call it, take the time to respond. When I share with people with strategies is that's your opportunity to showcase your customer service skills and take the time to respond. Now,
I think AI is a wonderful tool in this case because there's times that you probably have select words that you would like to say 'cause it can be very frustrated. However, it's a [00:11:00] public place where that information's gonna be read, so you can take and share with ChatGPT, Hey, I got this review and this is what I'm thinking about it.
I want to put together a professional post. So let me share with you the one I have. Write a professional and thoughtful response to a negative review for us. The review says the stylist was running 15 minutes late and didn't seem prepared for my appointment. Keep the tone calm, empathetic, and focused on resolution.
So I, and I would say to this, you know, share anything else that you're feeling and you know how you want to address it. But let's take this and let's put it over into ChatGPT.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this award, but did so I can let you read this here. Uh, one of the things I'm gonna say is, maybe this [00:12:00] is a little too long. Maybe it is. So let me say that I like this. Now, I didn't read it all. Um, just showing this for demo. I like this, but please condense
for a response on Google. I'm telling it the platform it's going out on. So here we go. And you see it condensed it down. Now it's also say that it could put closing line. So it's giving you a suggestion here, and that's one of the things that I like is most of the time ChatGPT has other gold nuggets information or ideas that it can share with you.
And I like talking to people about this. I don't want anybody getting negative reviews, but I also understand we're all human and I want you to see how you can use a program like AI in ChatGPT to help you [00:13:00] get your wording down that best represent your business in any scenario.
By now, I hope that you've already downloaded the Pre Bake the Oven Quick Start Guide. It will be a huge help if you have not downloaded it, but you have to fill it out for it to really help you. And one of the things that I like to share with people is download the guide, save it. Whether it be in Word, Google Doc, whatever platform you like to use, so that way you can copy and paste like you've seen me done.
