[00:00:00] If you've started using AI in your business and you're worried about your message, it's starting to sound a little, hmm. Like everyone else. You're not imagining it. A lot of business owners are feeling this pull AI can help you get more done. But if you are not careful, it can water down that personal touch your customers connect with.

The truth is AI is powerful, but it's not you.

And if it doesn't have a clear picture of who you are first, it can't support your voice the right way.

Welcome to AI Simplified the podcast for entrepreneurs, creators, and small business owners who want practical stress-free ways to use AI in their content and marketing. [00:01:00] I'm Kristina Stubblefield, digital marketing strategist and creator of the Pre-Baked the Oven Method. Let's simplify AI so you can create faster, show up consistently, and feel confident in your content.

Today I'm going to show you how to keep your voice, your heart, and your authenticity at the center of everything you create. And in just a moment, I'm going to give you the very step to help you do this.

By the end of this episode, you'll know how to confidently use AI in your business without losing that human connection. Your customers and community value so much. You'll walk away with a simple way to use AI as a support tool, so it helps you stay consistent. While you're sounding like the real you, [00:02:00] I've seen business owners go from this sounds so robotic to wow, that actually feels like me sometimes even clearer.

When you blend your voice with AI the right way, it doesn't replace your authenticity. It helps you show up more often with it. And if you've struggled with this so far, please hear me out. You're not behind. No one taught you how to do this in a natural human way. So before we go any further, I do wanna take just a moment to quickly say, AI works best when it understands your voice, your brand, and your tone. If you haven't used the Pre-Bake the Oven method, that is always step one. It helps AI learn who you are, so it can write with your voice instead of over it. You can grab the free guide whenever [00:03:00] you're ready, but for now, let's keep going.

Today I'm walking you through a simple way to stay human while using AI in your business. We are going to look at three things. What makes your human voice and presence irreplaceable, how to use AI as an amplifier, not a substitute. A simple weekly plan to show up as your real self with AI, making it easier. Are you ready? Let's jump in. Step one, start with your voice first. Your customers buy from you because your personality, your values, and the way you show you care, not because of perfectly polished content.

AI can enhance your message, but it can't create your lived experiences or your unique perspective. So begin with your own words, a voice note, a rough draft, a [00:04:00] story and then let AI help you refine it or repurpose it. So let me ask you a quick question. Have you ever read something AI helped you write and thought, that doesn't sound like me at all.

If so, that's a sign. Your voice wasn't the starting point.

Try this prompt, here's what I want to say in my own words, and then paste that in to your window, and then add this sentence. Help me make this clearer and keep it in my voice.

If this is already giving you some clarity and relief, I'd love for you to follow along on YouTube so you don't miss more episodes like this where we make AI feel easier, more natural, and more human for your business.

Let's move on to step number [00:05:00] two, let AI support you. Don't hand over the wheel. AI should feel like a teammate, not the driver. Use it to brainstorm ideas, outline content, repurpose something you've already said or polish your writing, but you provide the heart. Your examples, your stories, and your point of view are what build trust.

Let me share a quick, relatable moment because most of us have done this. Maybe you sat down to write a social media post and thought, Ugh, I don't have the energy for this today. I've been there. So you ask AI to write it for you, and then when you read it back, technically it was fine.

But it felt [00:06:00] like it could have come from any business, not you. We've all had that moment, and it doesn't mean you did anything wrong, it just means AI didn't have your spark to build from yet.

So here's an example. Record a voice memo sharing your thoughts. Then ask AI, turn this into a post or an email in my voice. Keep my personal example in my tone. Now are you all ready to move on to step three? Add a human touch before you hit publish.

One of the easiest ways to stay human while using AI is to add a personal line, a real story, or a genuine question before you share anything. AI helped with people can [00:07:00] feel when you're present. They don't need perfection. They need connection. So I encourage you to pause. And try this.

Before posting anything this week, add one human element. Here's what this looked like for me this week, and then fill in the rest. Here's another example. A client shared this with me recently and then fill in the rest. Another example. I'd love to hear how this shows up for you and you can add it. That tiny bit of you changes everything Step number four and maybe one of my favorites, show up once. Let AI multiply it. You don't have to be everywhere or create content nonstop. If you show up as your real self wants. [00:08:00] AI can help you expand that message into multiple touchpoints across your platforms.

If you've heard me talk about this before, you know how powerful repurposing can be, and AI just makes it even easier to do. Now I'm gonna share with you a very simple approach. Share one story, video, or insight each week. Use AI to turn it into a post, an email, and a caption. Keep your voice at the center.

AI just stretches it.

I am here to tell you, if you've been nervous about using AI because you didn't want to lose, what makes you you? I want you to hear this. Your awareness of that already puts you ahead. A lot of people are using AI without thinking about [00:09:00] connection or authenticity, but. You are, and that matters.

When you bring your voice, your stories, and your heart to the table, AI becomes a tool that supports your presence instead of replacing it. You can do this one small step at a time.

Truly, you can do this

[00:10:00] Just one, say it in your own words first, whether that's a few sentences or a voice note. Then use AI to refine it or repurpose it without removing your personality. You don't have to change everything.

Just start with one human message and let AI help you share it. You've got this.

I'm here to tell you. Done is better than perfect. Just start by taking the first step.
