[00:00:00] AI isn't just a shiny object or one-off hack, it's a tool that becomes your UNFI advantage only when you use it consistently. The truth is most business owners aren't struggling because AI doesn't work. They're struggling because they haven't built a routine that makes it easy to use.
Welcome to AI Simplified the podcast for entrepreneurs, creators, and small business owners who want practical stress-free ways to use AI in their content and marketing. I'm Kristina Stubblefield, digital marketing strategist and creator of the Pre-Baked the Oven Method. Let's simplify AI so you can create faster, show up consistently, and feel confident in your content.
When you build AI into your [00:01:00] daily workflow, it stops feeling like one more thing to figure out and starts becoming part of how your business runs.
And today I'm going to show you exactly how to do that. By the end of this episode, you'll know how to make AI part of your day-to-day business without feeling like extra work. You'll have a clear, simple framework to turn AI from an experiment into a consistent system that saves you time and builds confidence.
Every week, I've seen this play out again and again with clients and business owners in our community. When they first start using AI, it feels exciting, but they're overwhelmed. Almost like starting a new workout routine, but once they build a rhythm around it, even just 10 minutes a day, [00:02:00] it starts clicking.
Suddenly content flows faster, emails they get easier, and they finally start seeing results they can repeat. But before we talk about daily habits, let's talk about the first habit, the one that makes all the others work. What is that? Pre-Bake the Oven. It's where everything starts, and honestly, it's where you have to start every single time because if AI doesn't know who you are, what you do, how you sound.
It cannot support you the right way. So before you dive into prompts or tools, start with the foundation. And don't worry, I can show you exactly how to do it. You're gonna find a free guide that walks you through [00:03:00] the full method step by step, and yes, you can do it. So here's what we're gonna walk through today. First, why AI feels overwhelming for so many business owners, and the second, the mindset shift that makes it easier. Three ways to make AI a daily habit. The AI confidence curve. Ooh, a final framework to help you simplify first, then scale. So let's get started.
No more delaying. Let's just hop right in. Let's start number one, why AI feels overwhelming. And I'm gonna be honest with you, I always am. AI can feel like a lot. New tools, new updates, new prompts, new this, new that. Whew. It's easy to think you need to learn everything before you can start using anything, but [00:04:00] the truth is AI becomes easier when you make it part of your systems, not part of your stress.
You don't need to block off an entire day to learn ai. You just need small, repeatable habits that fit your existing routine. That's how it becomes useful, but best of all, sustainable. Part two, the mindset shift from extra to essential. The biggest difference between business owners who use AI successfully and those who never quite get there.
Is how they see it. If AI feels like an extra, it'll always fall to the bottom of your list. But when you see it as essential, something that saves you time, energy, and mental space, you start to prioritize it. [00:05:00] Habit equals consistency, and consistency equals confidence. The more often you use ai, the easier it gets and the more naturally it fits into how you work.
Think of your team when AI is part of your daily SOPs, not a When we have time task, you stop reinventing the wheel. You're not starting from scratch every day. You're building momentum. So if this episode is already sparking these ideas for you. Maybe how you could simplify your systems. Make sure you subscribe on YouTube so you don't miss future episodes when they come out each week.
I share grounded ways to use AI in your business. Real tools, real workflows, and real progress without the overwhelm. Alright, I don't know about you, but let's talk about number three, and that is three ways to make AI a daily habit. [00:06:00] Now we're getting good, so. How do we build this into our day? Number one, micro workflows.
Start with just 10 minutes in your morning routine. Every morning. Open your favorite AI tool. Run a few quick prompts. You could generate a social media post from a story from yesterday. You could check your SEO titles for a new blog. You could draft replies for an upcoming sales email. These small task, they all compound together.
Before long, you'll wonder how you ever managed without them. Okay. Next one, role assignment. This one is simple but powerful. Give your AI tools a job title. Think of them as a team member. You might have a content assistant GPT, an [00:07:00] email responder or a sales follow up buddy. When you start treating AI as part of your team, you naturally think of it more often.
Why? Because it has a role to play in your business, and it takes the mental load off of you. Next up is one of my favorites. Trigger-based use create small triggers that remind you to use AI when certain things happen. For example, when you record a video, ask AI to create five pieces of content from it.
Hmm, that's one of my favorites right there. When you send a client update, have AI write a follow up or thank you message. When you wrap up a project, ask AI to summarize lessons learned for your next proposal. Now that's thinking ahead. These triggers make AI part of your rhythm. No extra effort [00:08:00] required.
So let's talk about the AI confidence curve. Here's something I want you to remember. Your confidence with AI will grow in stages. At first, you might be a new user, you're testing prompts, you're trying prebuilt tools, and getting a feel for what works. Then you'll move into a growing stage. Maybe you start using custom gpts or building simple systems for your team Eventually.
You'll hit advanced where automations and integrations come in. But here's the key. You don't need to rush. Wherever you are right now is the right place to start. AI success is about progress, not perfection. So the framework, let's talk about it, simplify, then scale. So I wanna bring all of this together, um, with one of my favorite rules.
Simplify, then scale. You wanna start simple. Use the [00:09:00] tools you actually open, actually open on your computer. If a workflow feels complicated, it's probably too soon for it. It keep your AI use easy, repeatable, and human centered, very important. Now our team uses AI all day, every day. Not because we're chasing every new feature, but because we've made it part of how we work, it's built into our content, our follow-ups, our planning, just about everything.
That's what keeps it natural, consistent, and very powerful. So if AI still feels like one more thing on your list, I encourage you to take a breath. You're not behind. You just haven't built the habit yet. Once you start using AI in small, consistent ways, it becomes second nature. You'll find your own rhythm and your [00:10:00] own balance between automation and authenticity. You don't have to master every tool. You just need to start because small steps done consistently will take you further than big steps you never take. Think about that just for a minute. Small steps done consistently will take you further than big steps you never take If you want support while you're building your own AI habits.
