[00:00:00] If people are landing on your website but not reaching out to you,

or taking the next step, it can leave you wondering what's not working. You know, your website looks fine, but it doesn't seem to be doing much of the heavy lifting. And if you've ever thought. People must be visiting, so why aren't they contacting me?

You're not the only one. This is something I hear from business owners quite often when a website isn't converting, it's rarely because the business isn't good. It's usually because the message isn't clear. Visitors don't immediately understand what you do. Or they don't know what to do next, and this is one of the most common reasons business owners come to me for help.

Welcome to AI Simplified the podcast for [00:01:00] entrepreneurs, creators, and small business owners who want practical stress-free ways to use AI in their content and marketing. I'm Kristina Stubblefield, digital marketing strategist and creator of the Pre-Bake the Oven Method. Let's simplify AI so you can create faster, show up consistently, and feel confident in your content.

So today I wanna talk about how AI can help you clarify your website messaging so it actually support your business instead of just existing online. So first, most websites are written from the inside out. Now, what do I mean by that? Well, this is the first issue I see. Business owners write their websites based on what they know, not what a visitor needs to understand quickly.

So the messaging sounds too broad or too wordy, or too focused on features [00:02:00] instead of outcomes. AI can help you flip that. You can paste your homepage, copy into AI and ask, rewrite this, so it clearly explains what I do, who I help and why it matters. Write it in a simple client friendly language. Now, of course this works best after you've pre-baked the oven and given AI

context about your business, your audience, and your voice. So the rewrite actually sounds like you. Number two, if visitors are confused. They won't take action. Even small moments of confusion cause people to leave, they might be thinking, is this really for me? Do they actually solve my problem? What am I supposed to do now? AI can help you identify and fix those gaps. For example, you can [00:03:00] ask what questions might a potential client still have after reading this page. Then you can use AI to help you clarify your services, simplify your language, strengthen your calls to action. Clarity builds trust and trust leads to inquiries.

Number three, your website should support everything else you're doing. This is where everything we've talked about this month comes together. You can follow up perfectly. You can post consistently, but if people land on a confusing website, it breaks the chain. AI helps you align your website with your content, your follow up, and your overall message so everything works together instead of against you.

If your website feels overwhelming or outdated, it shouldn't mean you failed. It usually means your business evolved and your website didn't keep up. Most business [00:04:00] owners don't need a brand new website. It really depends on many factors, but we find a lot of times they need clearer messaging. AI helps you get that clarity fast without starting from scratch if your website isn't attracting the right clients It's usually not a design problem. In some cases, it's a clarity problem. With the right setup, AI can help you simplify your message, guide visitors more clearly, and turn your website into a tool that actually supports your business. We're talking about websites today because this is the final piece I see.

That trip business owners up all the time. They're doing so much right, but their online presence isn't fully working together yet. That's why this entire month has focused on the real struggles I hear from business owners every single day, getting clients following up, staying [00:05:00] consistent, and making sure your website actually supports all of it.

That's what AI simplified is all about. Simple practical ways to use ai. So it helps you understand the problem and then it also helps you fix it. You don't need a perfect website, you need a clear one, and when AI understands your business and your voice, it can help you create clarity that attracts the right clients.

As always, progress over perfection, always.
