What do you do when someone publicly criticizes you, questions your mission, or tries to shame you into staying quiet?

In this episode, I'm sharing a recent experience with an online troll who challenged not only my work but my decision to continue talking about emotional abuse and using paid ads to reach more women. While the comments themselves weren't the real story, what happened inside of me was.

Years ago, criticism like this would have left me questioning myself. Instead, I found myself standing firmly in my values, recognizing how much healing had taken place, and realizing that confidence isn't about avoiding negative opinions. It's about knowing who you are and refusing to let someone else's beliefs determine your direction.

We'll explore how emotional abuse conditions us to seek approval, why recovering from abuse means learning to trust yourself again, and how your subconscious beliefs influence whether criticism feels like a threat or simply another perspective. I'll also explain why I have no intention of stopping my work, why I'll continue speaking openly about emotional abuse, and why I believe using advertising to connect survivors with support is something to be proud of—not ashamed of.

If you've ever been afraid of being judged, criticized, misunderstood, or seen, this episode will help you shift your perspective, strengthen your confidence, and remember that your purpose doesn't require everyone else's permission.

In this episode, you'll learn:
• How subconscious beliefs determine your response to negative comments.
• What real confidence looks like after emotional abuse.

And...

• How to stop letting other people's opinions dictate your decisions.
• Why your message matters, even when not everyone agrees with it.

Whether you're recovering from emotional abuse, healing after a toxic relationship, rebuilding your self-worth, or learning to trust yourself again, this conversation will remind you that healing isn't measured by the absence of criticism. It's measured by your ability to keep moving forward in alignment with who you are.
