Mid-May snowstorms and the reminder that spring is still unfolding underneath it all

Trusting what is already true: the lake is thawed, the birds are back, the trees are turning green

“I can only receive what I am ready to receive” — encouragement, not avoidance

Asking ourselves: How much joy am I willing to receive today?

Opening the door to joy and allowing the body to guide us

Sore arms, physical work, and realizing emotional and mental labor can be just as exhausting

Celebrating the unseen work we do every day:

thinking

processing

worrying

analyzing

holding emotional weight

Decluttering the home as a pathway to decluttering the mind

Letting go happens in layers and at our own pace

Receiving more joy, peace, and love as a lifelong practice

Creating and connecting with your “inner cheerleader”

always supportive

kind

joyful

encouraging

Reflection questions:

What is your inner cheerleader’s name?

What message do they have for you today?

Naming and understanding the “inner bully”

the critical voice

the fearful voice

the reactive voice

Asking both inner voices questions creates awareness and emotional movement

Allowing emotions instead of resisting them helps release stagnation
