feelgoodery
Hey friend - my name is Kyle Buchanan and although I talk nutrition and health for a living nowadays - whether through talks, videos, or as a resident contributor on Canada's "The Morning Show", it was NOT that long ago that I was an anxious, drunken, closeted, self-doubty wreck. Being a grown up is tough, and messy - where we’re confident one day and anxiety-ridden the next. I don't like faking it. I DO however, like getting it all out in the open, laughing about it, and then exploring a few tools that can help us feel better if (and only if) we are in the mood. So whether it’s solo episodes or honest conversations with spectacular guests -this show is the blend of revelations, self-help, knowledge and gay magic that NO one asked for, but everyone needs. And I'm so glad you're here.

Two Words That Can Stop Overthinking in Its Tracks
By the end of today's episode - you're hopefully going to feel more grounded, present and friggin CALMER.
We’re following up on last week’s episode about the three words to consider for a simpler, calmer 2025 (thank you for all your shares and feedback!).
Today, we’re keeping things straightforward with two simple words that might just help ease anxiety, stop spiraling thoughts, and bring you back to center.
We always hear about “living in the present,” but fair to say that's easier said than done -especially if you’re someone who gets stuck in endless what-ifs or feels overwhelmed by a mile-long to-do list . .
These two words (and the placement hack I'll share) - and a small shift in how you say them, might be the mental reset you need.
We’re Covering:
- The power of the words “right now” to anchor your brain in the present
- How flipping the order of these words creates a calming “period” for racing thoughts
- my theory as to why this works when it comes to the brain
- A practical way to use this trick if you struggle with overthinking or feeling frozen by anxiety
- Why small language shifts can have big emotional payoffs
- A listener's fell good thing
If You’ve Been Feeling:
- Stuck in your thoughts
- Overwhelmed by everything you “should” be doing
- Anxious about the future or frozen by a daunting to-do list
This episode is here to remind you.
