The Best You - A Coaching Podcast: Personal Growth Through Real Conversations
Achieving Metabolic Health with Alivia Cortez
For this episode I’m joined by entrepreneur and founder of Frame Health, Alivia Cortez, to discuss the impacts of metabolic dysfunction and how to achieve metabolic health. Frame Health an organization dedicated to empowering women before and during midlife to elevate their potential.
Alivia spent most of her career as a Marketing Executive, balancing demanding work schedules with family life. For years, she managed to juggle it all until midlife hit and her health, which she had always taken for granted, began to slip.
Realizing a need for change, Alivia dove into the world of wellness, becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, a Metabolic Balance Coach and an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer. That journey allowed Alivia to reclaim her vitality while sparking her passion for helping other women do the same.
Alivia’s goal is to share that knowledge so busy, high-performing women can embrace midlife as an opportunity for growth, energy, and renewed purpose, rather than viewing it as a setback.
Key takeaways:
- Metabolic dysfunction is linked to chronic diseases like diabetes and heart issues.
- Nutrition plays a crucial role in achieving metabolic health.
- Eating three balanced meals a day is foundational for women.
- The Metabolic Balance program is tailored to individual needs based on blood analysis.
- Sleep hygiene is critical for overall health and metabolic function.
