Fish & A Rice Cake

Why you SHOULD be in shape as a coach!

Jake Season 2 Episode 5

Thinking a coach should be in shape,

Is seen as controversial.

You get branded toxic, unrealistic, setting people up for issues with their body or food.

But is it really?

Or is it because the people who preach that couldn't get in shape themselves without issues,

So now they project that outcome onto everyone else…?

Ironically too,

You ask those same people to name some of the better known, followed and liked people in the industry and they say,

Your Jeff Nippards, Mike Thurstons, Layne Norton and Ben Carpenters.

And guess what they have in common?

They’re all IN SHAPE!

And look,

We’re not saying you HAVE to be in shape every minute of every day, year round.

Of course not.

But you have to at least have evidence you have been,

You have to be documenting your journey walking towards something.

Because at the end of the day,

Being in shape helps.

It helps you be a better coach,

It helps you get better results because clients trust you more and try harder,
And it makes you a busier coach,

And some people might not like that fact, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

So hold onto your hat for this one,

Because if you couldn’t tell already,

We’re about to get ranty…

So grab a cuppa,

Join us in the chairs

And get comfy,

For another episode of FIsh & a Rice Cake

See you there.
