Unlocking Joy and Appreciation
Ever wondered if gratitude could be the key to unlocking unseen joy in your life? Join me, Keona Talana, on the Hearts Hello Show as we explore the transformative power of gratitude, especially as we gear up for Thanksgiving. This episode is all about taking a moment to appreciate the simple blessings we often overlook, from the comfort of a warm bed to the kindness of a stranger. I share personal insights on how daily gratitude sessions can uplift your spirit even during the most challenging times. By journaling three things you're grateful for each morning and evening, we can cultivate a powerful mindset of thankfulness.
Together, we'll navigate the path to becoming the best version of ourselves by acknowledging our imperfections and striving for growth. I express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you, my dear heart seekers, for being part of this journey. We'll discuss the importance of extending genuine thanks to those around us, as it not only uplifts them but also enriches our own hearts. Let's hold ourselves accountable, learn from our missteps, and embrace the joy in small moments. With a little gratitude, we can all find the strength to face our days with grace and a smile.
Hey, heart Seekers, welcome to the Hearts Hello Show, where our hearts are the foundation of our well-being and happiness. I am your host, kiana Talena. Well, you guys, I just want to say thank you. As we gear up for Thanksgiving this week, as our backs get a little wider, as we look for those clothes that give us just a tad bit more stretch, as we prepare to indulge in some of our favorite feasts, I just want us to take some time to be gracious. I want us to make sure that we are taking time to have daily gratitude sessions, because I truly believe that gratitude is the key to unlocking our joy. Most of the time, we wake up each and every day and we neglect to say thank you. We neglect to thank God for being able to open our two most precious gifts, for being able to have a warm home, to sleep in a comfy bed, to be able to flip the light switch and our lights come on, the ability for us to be able to go to our refrigerators and get food so many things that we take for granted. And I want us to make sure that we are just taking some time and reflecting this week on being gracious, because it's my desire that each and every one of you all, despite what challenges you may be going through, for some this is a difficult time of the year because you may have lost loved ones, you may be seeking companionship, there may be a lot of different things going on in your life, and this just may be one of those holidays where it's blah right. But I believe that if we take the necessary time each and every day, despite our challenges, despite the things that may be going on in our life, that a tad bit of gratitude will allow us just the oomph that we need to get through our day. And so I want to make sure that we are journaling, I want to make sure that, each and every day, let's just take some time to write out three things that we are grateful for each morning, write out three things that we are grateful for each evening, and just getting into a mindset of being grateful.
Speaker 1:I think that if we take this necessary time now, as things kind of slow down and the pause of just our daily routines, to be mindful of those small blessings that we have throughout our day that we sometimes just overlook, sometimes just overlook, you know, a warm cup of coffee can be a small blessing, a laughter, a deep belly laughter, being able to find gratitude in that, being able to give someone a kind word, for you to be able to receive a kind word. It's the small things sometimes that we just overlook, and I want us to slow down just a tad bit so that we're not missing the moments. I want us to make sure that we are expressing thanks, and I'm talking about genuinely being able to thank someone that's in your life. You never know what you expressing thanks to someone else can do for not just them, but also for you. So let's make sure that we are extending grace, let's make sure that we are giving those kind words when we can, and not just saying it just to say it, but truly mean it, because someone can sense when you are just saying something just to say it, but truly mean it, because someone can sense when you are just saying something just to say it.
Speaker 1:So I'm grateful for each and every one of you all, because I've said it before that your time is your most precious commodity, and so for you to listen in each and every week to hear me talk and to hopefully be able to give you what it is that you need so that you can take the necessary steps to become the best version of you. Because I know that, as I'm sharing information, that I myself am still doing the work, that I myself am still doing the work. None of us are in a place where we are perfect, and so I'm always tweaking, I'm always trying to find ways to get better, and I sometimes miss the mark, just like you will sometimes miss the mark, and it's okay. But I think that as we continue to grow, when we do miss the mark, we realize it, recognize it, can hold ourselves accountable and to apologize when necessary, and sometimes we'll be able to catch ourselves as we are going down this wrong path and self-correct, and so that is my goal. But again, I'm just thankful.
Speaker 1:I'm thankful for each and every one of you.
Speaker 1:I'm thankful for the journey that you have decided, because you've realized that you need to be the best version of you, not just for you, but for each and every person that is currently in your life and for those who will be coming as you continue to grow, because you will begin to radiate a new energy and new people will begin to come into your life because of this amazing person that you are becoming so I thank you.
Speaker 1:I thank you for being the best version of you. I thank you for taking the necessary time to realize that there are some areas in your life that need some tweaking. I thank you for taking the time to look inward, knowing that the outward appearance of a person does not make them. It's those inside inner workings that cause that, that radiance, that glow to exude. So I'm thankful for your life, I'm thankful for your journey. I'm thankful for your journey. I'm thankful for each and every step that you're making towards being the amazing, the authentic, the true version of you. So have a great holiday and I look forward to chatting with you soon.
