Sonesta Sports Certified: Raising the bar for sports travelers
Have you ever wished the hotel you stayed at was customized *exactly* for you/your group's needs?
Well, that dream is now a reality, thanks to Sonesta International Hotels.
The group launched Sonesta Sports Certified, a newer sports certification that their hotels can showcase that they are well prepared to take sports travelers.
This week, you'll hear from Hank Pivarnik, Sonesta International Hotel's Global Account Director.
He'll take us through the certification, why they brought it to life, and the value it’s driving for both the hotels and the travelers!
Hank will answer questions like.." As a hotel chain, what do you wish every Rights Holder knew?" , "What do you wish every destination knew?", "How can hotel chains and destinations best collaborate to support an event?", and more.

About Hank:
A 30+ year veteran in the hotel industry, 20+ years’ experience in the sports tourism; currently Global Account Director – Sports at Sonesta International. Sports ETA member since 2007, Sports ETA member of the L.E.A.D. Community Group, past Sports ETA Board Member, Graduate of Niagara University with BS in Travel & Tourism – 1985.
Completed STS certification in 2011, Cornell University certificate program in Executive Leadership in 2016.
Married to Mary-Jo, Children James and Erin, both married, and grandfather to Wee Ellie, EverlyJo, and Rawley.
Hank enjoys craft beer/wine tasting and singing with world champion Vocal Majority Chorus in Dallas
