Evolution of Spandex and Wine: Season 3 Teaser and What's Next

Robin Hackney

Ever feel like wellness advice forces you to choose between health and happiness? The Spandex and Wine podcast bridges that gap, and we're kicking things up a notch with Season 3!

After nearly two years of conversations about balanced living, host Robin Hackney reveals exciting format changes while maintaining the podcast's core mission. Tuesday episodes will transform into a powerful combination of mindset-shifting affirmations and practical wellness tips drawn from Robin's extensive experience with clients. These positive statements are designed to challenge negative thought patterns, boost confidence, and create meaningful change in listeners' lives.

Friday episodes will continue featuring thought-provoking guest interviews, with Robin hinting at some surprising names to come. Her refreshingly bold approach to outreach—"I don't care how many followers you have"—has already brought impressive voices like Dr. Brandon Parker (with his million+ following) to the podcast, creating accessible conversations with influential wellness figures.

Before diving into these changes, Robin will conclude Season 2 with a special episode on her "happiness blueprint" workshop that she's presenting at retreat locations nationwide. This preview offers listeners valuable insights into creating sustainable joy while embracing balance.

The Spandex and Wine community continues to grow, with Robin encouraging listeners to connect via email (info@spandexandwine.com), text (913-392-2877), or social media. Whether you're new to wellness or looking to refine your approach, this podcast offers judgment-free guidance on creating a life that honors both health and happiness—spandex and wine, perfectly balanced.

Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome to the Spandex and Wine podcast. I'm your host, robin Hackney, and I'm so happy that you're here. This podcast is a place for conversations about balancing a healthy lifestyle and being happy more specifically, happy hour. Together we'll explore all things wellness and wine. I hope you learn a little, laugh a lot and, along the way, know you're not alone on this balanced wellness journey. Ready to jump in or something in your glass that makes you happy, because it's time for spandex and wine.

Speaker 1:

Hey guys, welcome back to the spandex and wine podcast. I'm excited that you are here and I wanted to give you a little sneak peek into season three and how I'm going to shift things just a little bit. It's no major change by any means, and I will wrap up season two with one more episode after this, and that will be on my happiness blueprint. You heard me talk about that earlier in the year and I was telling you that I was going to be doing some workshops around the country. So I'm kicking that off in Charlottesville, virginia, at our wine camp retreat. So I'm going to give just a little taste of that workshop there, but I thought I would share it here as well. So that'll be the next episode and that'll be the final episode of season two, and then we will jump into season three. So I said that I was going to take a little bit of a break, but you guys, I'm not going to Number one because I like to keep the momentum going. And two, it's just become so much of a habit now, right? I mean, I'm coming up on two years In October. It'll be two years since I started the podcast. I can't believe it and I want to watch this, I want to make this grow and I want to remain consistent with it. So having no break at all will be helpful for me to stay consistent, right, and hopefully it'll be good for you too. So what differences in season two are you going to see?

Speaker 1:

So my Tuesday episodes that's the one I'm going to shift just a little bit. It'll still be a shorter episode because it'll just be me and I'm going to. Of course, I'll share just a little bit. You know something that's going on in my life. And then I want to do some affirmations, and in a way that'll be really helpful for you. So an affirmation is a positive statement and when you repeat that, it can really help shift your mindset, it can boost your confidence. It can promote positive change. It's just a tool that you can use to reinforce any beliefs or behaviors that you are wanting in your life. If you have certain areas that you are interested in, then please let me know. Otherwise, I'm just going to go really general with this. It can really challenge negative thoughts and replace them with a more optimistic perspective.

Speaker 1:

So I'm super excited about this and I think you'll like the format that I'm going to use. So that will be every Tuesday, but that's not the entire episode, because that would be super darn short. I will also do some type of fitness tip or nutrition or a healthy swap, something like that, something that I've been trying or that I'm drawing from my past, what I've been using with my clients. I'll be sharing that. So think of it as like a Tuesday tip day, all right.

Speaker 1:

And then on Fridays I'm going to continue with guests and I have some names that I'm going to reach out to and build this up, and I think you'll be surprised, maybe, by some of the people that are coming on. I'm someone that I don't mind reaching out to. I don't care how many followers you have. I don't care if you know. You are like a big superstar. I'll still reach out to people. I'm not afraid to do that Now. They may not necessarily see it, but like Dr Brandon Parker that was on, hopefully he'll be on again I did reach out to him again. He has over a million followers, you guys. That is huge for him to then help the little girl out. So, yeah, I'll still have guests on Fridays and I think this would be a fun shift for the podcast and who knows what else I will add in there. But know for sure that that is what I'm going to do.

Speaker 1:
