Path Meditation - Day 15 of 49
Day 15 of a 49 features a Path Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Path in the Root, First Chakra or Muladhara. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 15 Meditation. Today's theme is Path. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Path.
Straight or curved, as we walk, the path will appear beneath our feet. We only need to see a few steps ahead.
Keep going. Trust the process. Enjoy your journey. The mantra for this painting and card is I walk my path with ease and grace.
Find a comfortable position where you can maintain a nice long spine. If you can close your eyes. Allow yourself to tune into your breath. On your next inhale, maybe drawing the breath from the base of the spine up through the spine, through the crown. And as you exhale, release the breath, draw the awareness back to the base of the spine. You can allow the breath to continue to travel up and down your spine.
When you're ready, bring your awareness to the base of the spine, your root. You could imagine a crimson red. And in your mind's eye maybe you notice a scene appear before you where there is a path, but you can really only see a few steps ahead of you. And you're gonna begin to walk this path and maybe you know where it's going, maybe you don't. But just allow yourself to be present on your path. Allow the scene and the sights, sounds, smells surround you. Feel the sensation of the air on your skin. And what feelings does this path bring about? Do you like not being able to see more than a few steps ahead, or do you trust?
How might you enjoy your journey? As you meditate on path, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself. I walk my path with ease and grace. And when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.
(PAUSE TO REFLECT)
Bring yourself back to the present moment. If you'd like, you can draw your palms together at your heart center and just take a moment to honor your path. Namaste.
