Day 18 of a 49 features a Relationship Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Relationship in the Heart, Fourth Chakra or Anahata. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 18 Meditation. Today's theme is Relationship. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Relationship.

These circles represent a relationship. It is in our relating to others that we co-create, interact, engage, witness, understand and grow. Relationships in all their forms are a key part of your growth and evolution.

Honor the gifts of each unique relationship. The mantra for this painting and card is I live in peace and harmony.

Find a position where you can maintain a nice long spine. If you can close your eyes. Begin to become aware of the breath. Notice the chest rise and fall.

The breath lives in our heart space. So if you'd like, you can imagine the heart area, the lungs filling up on the inhale. Really feel into the space of the heart that extends through the arms and the hands. The color associated with the heart is emerald green.

Breathe into your beautiful heart.

It is through our hearts that we relate to others and are able to make that connection of each individual unique relationship. Think of all the different kinds of relationships you have had in your lifetime.

It is in relating to others that we co-create and we grow and evolve, and there is one very special relationship as well, and that is our relationship to ourselves. Make sure you are including that one.

As you meditate on relationship, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself, a mantra, I live in peace and harmony. And when you hear the sound of a singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.

(PAUSE TO REFLECT)

Bring your awareness back to your body. Bring your hands palms together at your heart center. And take a moment to honor your beautiful heart. Namaste.
