Connected Meditation - Day 20 of 49
Day 20 of a 49 features a Connected Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Connected in the Third Eye, Sixth Chakra or Ajna. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 20 Meditation. Today's theme is Connected. I'll be reading a description of Kate Le May's painting and chakra card, Connected.
This is an interpretation of Indra's net. In this image, one line is time, the other space. Where they intersect is a human being, a jewel. Each jewel is connected to the whole and infinitely reflective of each other.
We are all connected. In moments of disconnection, meditation helps you charge up and feel your connection to the whole. The mantra for this painting and card is I reflect and connect.
Find a place where your spine can be long. If you can close your eyes, tune into the breath, notice how it's moving, how it's feeling. And if you want, on your next inhale, you could breathe in and out of your third eye, center of the eyebrows,
This is where our intuition lives, our inner vision, the movie in the mind, the color is indigo.
And if you like to visualize, you could imagine yourself as a jewel. What color might your jewel be? How much would you glitter and sparkle and shine? And your jewel is connected on a net or a web to other jewels, to other human beings,
When one of us shines, we all shine.
Allow yourself to breathe into the idea of feeling connected to the whole.
And if you feel disconnected, allow yourself to charge up. Love on that jewel.
As you meditate on connected, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself. The mantra I reflect and connect. And when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you'll know your meditation is complete.
(PAUSE TO REFLECT)
Bring yourself back to this present moment. If you can draw your hands to your heart center, palms together.
Namaste.
