Day 26 of a 49 features a Power Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Power in the Solar Plexus, Third Chakra or Manipura. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 26 Meditation. Today's theme is Power. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Power.

This image symbolizes the sun and its channels of up and down energy currents. We embody the same radiance and high voltage electricity. Our hearts beat and our bodies breathe through the power of energy, light, and the infinite.

The source of your power is in being present. Your power is infinite. You are powerful beyond your wildest dreams. The mantra for this painting and card is I radiate power.

Find a place where you can maintain a nice long spine. If you can close your eyes. Allow yourself to tune in to the breath. Notice it moving in and out. If it feels okay, breathe in and out your nose. Fill the low belly on the inhale, and then bring the breath into the upper chest. As you exhale, allow the chest to deflate, draw the belly button in toward the spine at the end of your exhale.

A breath is a beautiful, powerful tool to help us be more present. Each breath is a new opportunity to be present. If you'd like, you can bring your awareness to the center of your abdomen. This is your solar plexus, your power center. The color is yellow. If you want, you can imagine a bright light emanating from this area. Allow your light to shine. Maybe it meets the light of the sun. Even on a cloudy day, the sun is always there.

Allow yourself to breathe into your light, into your power, your inner fire.

Allow yourself to be with its brightness. Be with its electricity.

As you meditate on power, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself. The mantra I radiate power. And when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.

(PAUSE TO REFLECT)

Bring yourself back to the present moment.

Bring your hands to your heart center. Take a moment. Honor your power. Namaste.
