Change Meditation - Day 30 of 49
Day 30 of a 49 features a Change Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Change in the Sacral, Second Chakra or Svadhisthana. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 30 Meditation. Today's theme is Change. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Change.
We are nature. Change is natural. This painting honors the in and out motion of the ocean, the cycle of blood in our veins and air in our lungs, the seasons and the passing of day into night.
Observe your feelings around the sensations of change. Allow nature to evolve and change through and with you. The mantra for this painting and card is I embrace change.
Find a position where you can maintain a nice long spine. Close your eyes if you can. Begin to tune into the breath. Notice how it's moving, how it's feeling in the body. And notice how the breath is a tool that helps bring us in to the present moment. No two breaths are the same, so breath is a reminder that you can welcome change.
If you'd like, you can bring your awareness to just below the belly button, the sacral area. This is where we experience pleasure and divine creativity. It is also where we can welcome in the flow of change. Sometimes right behind change comes a little bit of resistance, so just notice the sensations in the body and in the mind around change.
If you'd like, you can imagine yourself with a pocket full of change. Let that jingle, jingle of the coins remind you of the abundance that is always available to you. And as you hear the jingle, maybe you take the road less traveled, maybe you switch up your routine to create a different result. Maybe you welcome a little bit of joy, a little bit of levity and laughter even, or maybe especially in difficult moments.
As you meditate on change, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself the mantra, I embrace change, and when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.

Begin to bring your awareness back to the ever changing present moment. Draw your hands to your heart center.
Namaste.
