Day 31 of a 49 features a Digestion Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Digestion in the Solar Plexus, Third Chakra or Manipura. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 31 Meditation. Today's theme is Digestion.  I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Digestion.

Our intestines are designed to break down large particles into smaller, more easily digestible molecules. In this way, fuel is absorbed into the body.

As you allow Divine Will to unite with your own Will, your energetic system can absorb new information priming you for evolution. The mantra for this painting and card is chew until liquid.

Bring yourself into a position where you can maintain a long spine. Close your eyes if you can.

Bring your awareness to your breath. Notice it moving in and out.

If you'd like, you could breathe in and out of the solar plexus, center of the abdomen. This is our power center. The color is yellow. It is also where digestion occurs in the body.

So if you think of the processes of the body that automatically happen each and every day without us always bringing our awareness to them, they are actually incredibly powerful.

The solar plexus is also where our will lives in our body, our gut instinct.

Breathe into the idea of Divine Will uniting with your Will. How do you take action and process? How do you bring your will to fruition?

As you meditate on digestion, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself the mantra, chew until liquid, and when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.

(PAUSE TO REFLECT)

Bring your awareness back to the powerful present moment. Draw your hands, palms together at your heart center. Namaste.
