Day 32 of a 49 features a Breath Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Breath in the Heart, Fourth Chakra or Anahata. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 32 Meditation. Today's theme is Breath. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Breath.

Fear is excitement without the breath. As we grow, we may feel fear, constriction, pain, or sadness.

By adding breath to a constrictive feeling, you realign to your Truth, which is expansive, aligned love. The mantra for this painting in card is I breathe consciously, aligning with love.

Find a position where you can maintain a nice long spine. If you can, close your eyes. Rest your hands where they feel comfortable.

Begin to notice the breath moving in and out of the heart space. The color is emerald green. Allow yourself to ease and soften through the shoulders and the chest on each exhale.

Breath is something that happens automatically each and every moment of every day. But when we bring our conscious awareness to it, sometimes it begins to change. We might notice if it feels a little bit constricted. If there's any feelings of tightness, of fear rising up through the heart or through the throat, allow your breath to move through those areas.

When we apply that breath to that constrictive feeling, we align with our Truth, which is expansive and loving. Allow yourself to love on your fear with the breath.

As you meditate on breath, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself the mantra, I breathe consciously, aligning with love. And when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.

(PAUSE TO REFLECT)

Bring your awareness back to your breath. Draw your hands to your heart center, palms together, if you can. Namaste.
