Day 38 of a 49 features a Voice Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Voice in the Throat, Fifth Chakra or Vishuddha. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 38 Meditation. Today's theme is Voice. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Voice.

Six small circles, feed and amplify a seventh, larger circle. It's self-made of seven circles radiating out into the world. This larger circle represents synchronized resonance, where connected vibration creates harmony in purposeful self-expression.

Speak up. Know your authentic voice is the balanced manifestation of your ideas, intuitions and experiences. The mantra for this painting in card is I honor my voice.

Find a place where your spine can be long. Close your eyes if you can.

Bring your awareness to your breath. Notice it moving in and out.

And maybe you choose to breathe in and out of the throat space, allowing this area to clear. The color is ocean blue.

Allow the breath to be like a wave rising and falling and clearing away.

Our throat is the area of the body that represents self-expression, vibration, creativity, and truth. What would it feel like to communicate your authentic truth, to use your voice as a representation of who you truly are, to embrace its resonance?

You could even imagine the throat has seven rings.

There are always more layers to things than appear on the surface.

So sometimes to find your true voice and your truth, you have to peel back those layers and then let the truth sing.

As you meditate on voice, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself, the mantra, I honor my voice, and when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.

(PAUSE TO REFLECT)

Begin to bring your awareness back to your body. If you can, bring your hands to your heart center. Take a moment.

Namaste.
